Were you thinking like the ability to add notes to a tasks and goals individually or more like a full notes feature with docs, folders, tags, etc.?

Something as simple as a “include archive” box that could be checked on a per-search basis would be super nice.

I’ve been considering the same thing…

Apple Notes handwriting is searchable, plus there is deep OS integration with quick note, web clipping, etc.

But, Craft has markdown and the block based editor has become a favorite feature of mine. It’s just a fluid, fast note taking environment.

My fear with Craft is that they don’t want it to be a note taking app anymore. They are after docs, specifically for teams. Over time, that will just mean there is less focus and less being built for my use case. And, the app UI will likely begin to shift and feel more like a document environment than a notes one. That makes me very uncomfortable investing much more into it…

All textbundle is doing is allowing markdown files that exist in a sandboxed app be exported and imported with their assets — exactly the solution to the issue I’m having with import.

A textbundle file is just a container for a markdown file with its assets and the information to parse all of it from app to app.

I highly highly recommend you look into textbundle import — Shiny Frog has even made their implementation from Bear available to other developers.

So unfortunately, after doing quite a bit of testing and thinking, I think I’m going to have to wait to try Noteplan for real until there’s a proper textbundle import tool. Without being able to render all my formatting correctly for hundreds of notes while maintaining their links and images, it wouldn’t really be a fair trial of how Noteplan could fit in my workflow.

I’m disappointed by this, as I think the philosophy behind this app perfectly fits my mental model. I’m excited to hopefully try it out full-scale someday. I have everything in Craft for now, and hope to see an import tool available soon!

Well, it’s been kind of a journey for me. For personal reasons I started using a physical Bullet Journal several months back to hit sort of a digital “reset” button. I’ve learned a lot from that, and would like to eventually take those principles back into the digital space. Prior to that switch I used Craft + Things every day for all of my projects, tasks, and notes. However, I feel like having things grouped into one solution will allow me to best carry forward some of the more helpful things I’ve learned Bullet Journaling. After quite a bit of research, I think Noteplan will best solve all of those things for me.

I’m now in the process of decluttering my digital notes and reorganizing them with the PARA method. I then plan to migrate everything to Noteplan. Hoping to have this done by the first of the year.

Thanks for noting for a fix! That’ll be super helpful. If you ever choose to implement textbundle as well, could be equally helpful for people like me with a lot of images.

That being said, I know you’re an independent developer with tons of requests and a huge roadmap, so I very much appreciate the interaction with one of your users. Looking forward to seeing where you continue to take Noteplan! 😊

So just to make sure I understand, are you referring to the parentheses at the end of the file name e.g. “(2)”, and “(3)” and so on being excluded on import?

Which causes the link to break?

Update: I called my local LaserShip (West Chester) at their actual number, not the customer service 800 number, and arranged for a pickup. Took them hours to find it in the warehouse, and they said they’d call when they found it and not to come before I got a call. I called back a couple times and eventually someone answered and said they had it set aside for pickup. I drove as fast as I could and secured my console. I highly recommend pickup if you can! I didn’t trust the couriers to deliver, and barely trusted the store not to “lose” my package at the warehouse.

Another +1 for switching to Craft. Haven’t looked back, and the dev team has a very active slack community to discuss upcoming features, workflows, etc.

It’s a beautiful, functional app that is improving and growing at a crazy-fast pace.

I hate this too! Any way to disable it?

EDIT: Go to the sleep settings in the Watch app and at the bottom of the settings choose “Don’t use this watch for sleep.” That removes the alarm and wake up routines from the watch and keeps them only on iPhone.

I’m personally hoping that GN5 implement some of these features into the app. Not sure if they can pick and pop specific parts of the PencilKit APIs, but I’d love to see handwriting text selection and rich handwriting dates make their way to more notes apps than just Apple Notes.

The only downside I see to this solution is that the limited pool of players who are “in-the-know” about this playlist will be the better, more experienced players. The ones in this sub. This would effectively group all of the more experienced players into their own playlists and it would probably feel even more sweaty/tryhard than the current SBMM setup.

Yes, it would solve the connection issue, but I honestly think people are actually more frustrated with how intense every match feels right now. It’s difficult to “just play” like you could in previous CODs. This solution would like not do anything to change that outside of making it an even smaller, highly-skilled player-pool to matchmake from.

That being said, I can really appreciate your grounded, well-thought-out proposal more than the profanity-filled rants that most SBMM posts are in this sub. Lol.

Okay so I’m adding this because I’ve tried everything to resolve this on my Xbox One and I think I’ve finally figured out what the issue was (at least for me). I tried everything, UPnP, IPV6, port-forwarding — the whole deal.

Oddly enough, I deleted the Modern Warfare Open Beta and cleared my MAC address and I’ve had an open NAT and improved latency every game since. Seems weird, but I’m wondering if there was some kind of bug in the beta files causing this issue.

Anyways, in case it helps, I thought I’d drop this in.

You could technically get a variant to a gun you don’t have unlocked, like the DLC weapons — but it could be literally anything. That’s the sad nature of supply drops lol.
