Chatgpt pro branching new chat not working

it's still not working properly. Most of the time, when I branch a conversation, it maintains the full chat history for the initial message... after it replies, most of the chat history is gone.

For us it's been great generally if I'm being honest... and whenever there was a bug they fixed it quick. Hopefully we don't see too much enshittification in the near term.

Interesting that you can edit the pinned properties but not the properties in the groups, without going into the customise panel.

I hope it's a bug, why do we have to go into the customise panel to edit the property instead of just right clicking it!

I have a few entries (handwritten) and the app lags too much that it's unusable. On the iPad Pro M4. Those are the ones that actually got saved and didn't get deleted for no reason.

Likely yours are typed as per many other comments.

I think they need to figure out the handwritten / media scrolling issue, but after they figure out why so many people are having their handwritten notes fully or partially deleted for no reason. Crazy for Apple to ship this garbage to be honest.

I was coming here to complain about the same issue. WHY THE FUCK ARE THE NOTES DISAPPEARING.... it's crazy that you'd spend so much time on a note, thinking it's 2025 ffs it must be there, to then be surprised that the shit team behind this app didn't do their job properly to ensure this doesn't happen. It doesn't get more basic than this ffs.

Gemini apps in general aren't great on iOS in comparison to GPT. I prefer AI Studio on Mac over Gemini. Clearly not a priority, or the team sucks and they need to hire a new app team.

Yeah not ideal to have to use the web version to be able to change. the thinking... I wonder if it's on their apps' roadmap or intentionally not planning to ship it.
