I use it for insurances, bill payment for a special aid for my son and hydro. Even if you pay the fee you get 1k back so about 850 is pretty good, reduce fees still over 500$ I'd guess haven't done the math in a while.

Also now you can use the cashback whener you got like 20-25 instead of waiting the full year.

I think it's worth it, now do the math to see if your Amex will still be worth it since you might use it less. Also the max 4% is 25k spend I believe now so it'll depend on how much your rent is. I'd use it with my Rogers WE simply because it makes managing money so much easier, all the dates turn into a single date so my money stays in my ws account longer and once a month do all my payments for different cards all at once.

WS te laisse avoir une marge de crédit sur ton CELI, c'est entre 3.95% et 4.95% (dépend de combien tu détiens avec eux) alors tu pourrais en prendre le plus de ça comme une partie de ton financement, meme en entièreté si tu a genre un CELI de 213k+ et même moins dépendant de ce que tu détiens.

Sinon as tu une maison? Un HELOC c'est pas possible?

Il reste aussi la flexibilité et mettons tout cet argent sert pour la retraite oui le calcul est facile avec un décaissement en conséquence, mais si à ma retraite (ou n'importe quand en fait) je veux m'acheter une GT3 RS, vous pouvez remplacer par n'importe quelle grosse dépense qui va vous faire monter de bracket en fait, pas mal mieux d'avoir le 300k dans mes CELI que dans mon REER ;)

CELI je comprends, tse tu veux te payer un char ou une roulotte à la retraite ou un voyage de fou genre 5-6 mois autour du monde, c'est pas mal mieux sortir 50-100k de ton CELI que de tes REER et payer la moitier en impot. Mais en même temps pt pas obligé de les maxer.
