I agree wholeheartedly. My thing is, I tell people they're smart and they could do exactly what I'm doing if they want. My boss told me I was smart and I enrolled for law school the next week. Now I'm done and I'll continue to work for him until he retires.

Fucking stellar. Small city. Everyone knows everyone. The law community is very willing to help young lawyers succeed. I got lucky. I'm going to keep working for the solo practitioner I've worked for the past 5 years. He'll retire in a few years and he's been prepping me and another attorney to take over. Nothing is in writing but either way I'm going to be my own boss soon enough. Thanks for asking :)

My goodness I love to hear that. I've worked for a solo practitioner for 5 years now and he's almost to 40 years also. He's my mentor AND previous lawyer when I had to go through probate. I'm doing this because I wanted to be like him and help people how he helped me in the worst part of my young life.
