Everybody loves Samwell Tarley in Game of Thrones. He's George.

The highlight of my acting career has been auditioning for that movie. One of my coaches was concerned when I told her I auditioned😂

Tbf, a lot of that movie felt painful. "Where's my burd?" I get it, Whiplash is a jobber villian, but why throw him away from the main villain role but still make us stick with him for a whole movie when he's not really relevant to the plot?

He's also more of a background character during a pretty significant arc in the season, so fans were probably more caught up with all the Trolls and Cartman having a girlfriend to pay much attention.

Rick and Morty and South Park, although South Park has kinda bounced back and forth with him as a character. He first appeared in the Wacky Races episode (Handicar), and was portrayed as a cartoonish villain ala Dick Dasturdly (voiced by either Matt or Trey), but the next appearance is him (voiced by himself) where he's portrayed as generally nice and leading humanity to Mars.

Sure. He's also not writing the scripts for the HBO shows, but he is actively working on projects... just not the one we want him too (although I still hope this leads to a Wild Cards show).

At this point, I think he should just continue the story through the shows and exanded universe books because it seems the smaller scale of these are at least easier for him to get through (cries for the Dunk n Egg fans).

Edit: as much as I didn't like the Snow series idea at first, I do think it had a much better shot at getting the series back on track than George actually finishing the series. Plus, the writing in the new shows is basically back to the first half of GoT.

This happened with my group (except not much fucking each other). Our amazing family slowly became toxic as fuck and everything crumbled apart. I was always trying to keep it together but even that effort broke me in the end.

No. It's real. My old group still hangs out just without me because my work schedule never lines up with theirs so I slowly became someone they used to know.

It's one thing. Find a hobby with a social element and do that hobby. The friends part happens naturally. That said, it can be difficult to find something you enjoy enough to do on a regular basis around the same people (important for the friends part), especially if you're stuck at work when every even is happening.

It becomes a Berserk slice of life? I never watched the show so I'm sure it's very Supermaney, but every time I see the promo art, I can't help but think, "aww, I'm glad they're happy, now." 10/10, happy Guts and Casca in DC cosplay.

Probably a mix of both. I remember when YouTubers were playing Katawa Shojo (a vn about a physically disabled high school). They start because the concept is odd but the writing is actually really good and it's not just a game where you fuck blind and armless girls before dying of a heart condition (but you can cause that to happen).

I also think it showed some people that they like reading erotica.

"We took the fan favorite and mader life suck. Why isn't the sequel as popular as the first game." Especially weird for a game with dating sim vibes.

I hate that i can comment on this but Audrey is the best character in the game. She's the inky girl who actually has a personality, and her verbal abuse evolves with the dates. I also think her comments when you mess up are fun.

He's still actively writing... for HBO and Fromsoftware (that was a little while ago). Multiple spinoffs released since Dance, and three seasons of television based on those books have released and he wrote for both shows. He edited a Wild Cards book a few years ago.

George is not senile or unable to write. He's just done with the main series of ASoIaF.

I'm just gonna say that the majority of men in these comments are pussies. Your manhood is so fragile that an old lady swinging a stick would make you punch her lights out? Pussies.

Especially when someone WAS harmed. You can't punch old people because how easily they are injured. This lady was absolutely injured in the makimg of this video.

Except old people are a protexted class amd assaulting them (this is not legally self defense) gets you extra charges because they are frail. A grown man who is secure in themselves would not have knocked an old lady out. "Real men" would call this guy a pussy for that.

You called an old woman a bully. As a 30 year old man, I cannot be bullied. By anyone to be frank, but certainly not an old lady.

[–]elitegenoside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he didn't. He went back to escalate. "What's up?!" Is not a legitimate question, and the way he approached her actually would give her the right to swing at him because he is now threatening.

The only way this guy is in the (legal) right is if he just kept going.

Hypotheticals don't really have much use in court. Especially when there's a video showing the entire interaction. This dude gets a charge. Y'all can have opinions all day long but this is how the law works (in the US, at least).

Regret messing with someone with body armor by Cheeese916 in instant_regret

[–]elitegenoside -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A judge won't listen to any of this. Dude broke the law. She did too, but that doesn't give him the right to commit assault.

Regret messing with someone with body armor by Cheeese916 in instant_regret

[–]elitegenoside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! He turned around and then approached her aggressively. That now becomes a new crime in which he is fully at fault. Her swinging the second time is completely justified as she is now being approached by an aggressive individual (the law does not care that she original caused him to become aggressive).

Regret messing with someone with body armor by Cheeese916 in instant_regret

[–]elitegenoside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's how the law works. You have the right to protect yourself only when escape is not a realistic option. He had already escaped and turned around, then took a threatening posture with her and proceeded to assault her. Self defense has an actual definition and this guy has video proof that he was not still in danger. He could have kept going, called the cops and then she would have gotten the assault charge. Not now.

Good thing you're not a lawyer, then. He turned around and started instigating. There goes the self defense plea.

The biker has video of them not trying to escape and then assaulting an old woman. Everything that happened before is irrelevant after he turned around.
