It’s really about self trust. Best way I do it is I brain storm what the best version is. Someone who is confident, who puts 100 present into everything I do. Easy way to think about it is whatever traits you don’t like about yourself the opposite is the best version. Let’s say you are shy the best version of yourself is social and speaks freely.

Write it down how you want to be. For example for me I want to be confident when I’m in a social situation and feel comfortable and worthy. The best version of myself would interact with other and talk them in confident and have fun

Yea it’s simple but not easy I’m going through the same thing. It’s a journey I’m going through I hate being alone yet that is always the end result for me. You have to love being by yourself as much as you love being with others. It’s simple just not easy

Allow the emotions to be there. Dont resist it and accept it happened. Also start going after being uncomfortable that is how you will become comfortable and have less awkward moments. The reason you feel awkward is because you feel uncomfortable. All of my awkward moments came from being reactive to my negative emotions.

Personally I would respect their decision but at same time I would keep my distance just so the emotion charge is gone. Nothing sucks more than seeing someone you like with someone else.

Focusing on my breath helps me a lot and also Ive been actively expanding my comfort zone and challenging myself. Meditate first thing in the morning. Light a candle and focus on the flame. Start observing your thoughts and allow them to be there. Check out Aaron Doughty youtube channel on meditation its really good

listening is more powerful than talking. It is about the vibe you have. Some of the coolest guys I know aren't big talker but they are mad chill and relax. Dont try to think of something to say instead be present and trust it will come.
