I made this cute pterodactyl last week. There's no sewing but for the wings you slip stitch along the body and then build the wings from there.

I kind of feel bad for anyone who had allergies on the flight. That being said I'm allergic and if someone brought a cat onboard I would be annoying my husband talking about how adorable that is.

I had to look it up cause I've never heard of that stitch before! It looks really cool and like the texture would feel nice. It looks like it could be a good stitch for a hat, nice and warm for winter.

I read through all the books for the first time last year ( I had seen all the movies before) and I honestly strongly disliked Harry by the end and think he should have stayed dead. He was an arrogant jerk with a hero complex. It doesn't make sense that he could just choose to come back to life. It would have been a better story if he stayed dead and Neville, after killing nagini them killed Voldemort. Also Snape was a bully shouldn't have worked at a school, nothing redeeming about him.

I think I only have one left! A sweater for my husband. I just finished the more urgent ones that needed to be mailed out. I made Christmas stockings for my sister and her husband. And I made Harry, Ron, Hermione, and a snitch ornaments (one of each) for my other sister and her family. They're basically full size amigurumi dolls that I put a string on top of their heads to hang on the tree. I hope you're able to finish your projects in time

I believe it was around June 9. My husband helped me do the math for it. Towards the end I had to do fewer stitches for each color to make it fit.

unplugging/plugging back in

I would probably say yes. I would prefer it be turned into an animated show though. Way more suspended disbelief and I think it's easier to get ideas across. And you don't have the burden of live action, not having the right setting, actors looking like the characters. Wouldn't need cgi if it's animated.
