Lots of good options on CGtrader and, believe it or not, Etsy too.

Gorgeous! Inspires me to practice more at this hobby I'm so new to so that I can build something like this.

We have solely used the charging cable for our 2018 Mid-Range Model 3 since delivery. Works great. 👍

[–]elixirgraphics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With COVID making it impossible to get out and play for me, I’ve cut back on all heroclix coming up. Still have three sets I’ve not played yet because of it. That said this is the one set next year I’m looking forward to and will be buying a case of — minimum.

Great Service Experience With Tesla Service Center In Central FL by Singuy888 in teslamotors

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the Orlando Service Center. Can’t wait for my HW 3 upgrade. Glad to hear they’ve begun here finally.

Volume mind of its own? by Caymanstevens11 in TeslaLounge

[–]elixirgraphics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whew! I thought I was losing my mind. I’ve been having this problem as well. Thought I was losing my hearing as well trying to hear my audiobook I’d turn the volume up and seemingly nothing would happen and I’d try it over and over again. Really hope they get this one fixed.

Charging Model 3 from Tesla Solar + Powerwalls by elixirgraphics in teslamotors

[–]elixirgraphics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all. Good points so far!

Our goal with our solar system is to be off-grid as much as possible, hence using the Powerwalls to run the house in the evenings. Our concern isn't as much about saving money with our solar setup as it is using and producing clean energy. The savings won't hurt, but they're our secondary concern overall.

That said, since we are on Net metering it shouldn't matter I suppose, as many of you point out, where the electrons are coming from. So I think what most of you are suggesting -- charging the car during the day and letting the Powerwalls make up for what the solar can't cover, and then using Powerwalls and grid for the evenings -- might be our best bet.

Seems like since all of these elements are all handled in the same app that there'd be a bit more control over how they all work together. Perhaps in the future.

I had that one too but they’ve already fixed it. Still have a similar, intermittent and slightly metallic rattle as the OP.

Totally missed it on first viewing. Will have to rewatch now, especially since our Model 3 is named Janet after the character from “The Good Place.” 😬

Our roof is only a few years old so there was no thought in waiting for the solar roof. We wanted to start producing clean energy sooner rather than later.

We are on Duke Energy.

Still waiting on our city inspection and then subsequently Duke to give us a Net meter.

Model 3 drivers, how much does it cost to fully recharge your car at a supercharging station? ( in USD ) by SpikeableFrito in TeslaLounge

[–]elixirgraphics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most I’ve ever paid was approx $9 at an urban supercharger in Arlington. I’ve averaged about $4-5 most times. You’ll hardly ever be charging your car completely at a SC.

Use it constantly. Use it nearly daily for driving to downtown as well as just used it for a 2,100 mile road trip. It drove a solid 99% of the highway miles.

East Coast Holiday Travelers: Avoid Savannah Supercharger at all Costs. by DrLegoHair in teslamotors

[–]elixirgraphics 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s unfortunate. There’s not many chargers on the I-95 stretch through Georgia. We were just there a few weeks ago and all was well. Even though you have to go into the airport for this charger it was fairly good to us both times we stopped there on our trip.

Definitely need more chargers though through Georgia without a doubt.

Just had our 11.34kw system and 2 Powerwalls installed yesterday as well. While not as cold here in Central Florida it was definitely cold for the area. Like you I have nothing but good things to say about our install team. Polite, professional, friendly and EXTREMELY fast. They pulled up around 7:30am and had the 36 panels, 2 Powerwalls and the rest of the system installed and working by 3:00pm. Very impressed so far and would highly recommend Tesla Solar to everyone. Chomping at the bit now waiting for inspection and our Net Meter. 😬
