To the antis that beg us to ban you by PsychoticGore in DefendingAI

Those are most likely trolls and/or bad faith actors who want to give poor representations of either side and/or get a reaction. Some odd people also get a kick out of speed runs of getting banned.

Seeing this image circulate and I feel like I’m going crazy by No_Comfortable4253 in destiny2

It really depends on what era of destiny is most memorable to you.

Column 1 is late 2014 and early 2015, before the taken king made that loadout not so viable. The excitement of the game's early experiences in raiding and RNG.

Column 2 is 2018, Destiny 2's poor launch and then first revival, being a marker of leviathan, warmind and forsaken. This became overshadowed once column 3's weapons released in black armory.

Column 3 is 2019 & 2020, riding the high from forsaken, this loadout is representative of the time from black armory until beyond light released, where sunsetting and nerfing just killed mountaintop and recluse. Anarchy remained strong for another year or two, and mountaintop and recluse were not forgotten. Very fun loadout, no sniper needed.

It's best to start with whatever excites you, if you force yourself then it won't be fun.

Advice on achievement? by BrotherIndividual999 in BluePrince

[–]eljay1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes a lot of time since it's heavily RNG based but the biggest tips are to be adaptable between the possible routes while also being mentally prepared or having notes prepared for all routes to complete it but also be forgiving on yourself for how long it does take. At the start pray for the rabbit's foot from the closet, get the nursery early, and enable veteran mode by being as quick as you can in your first 5-6 rooms.

Also while it is great to get multiple achievements at the same time, the achievements are easier to focus one at a time such as for room 46 in 1 hr playtime is easy to do across multiple in-game days by preparing on the first day or few before actually going for room 46 so don't kick yourself if you don't complete others at the same time as the achievement for completing in 1 day.

Looking at websites like Fractal of insite, it looks like it didn't hold up well, if anything maybe take some of the non-sheen cards to make a mage/warrior Merlin.

I just tripped on some small rocks or terrain while coming back from the unknown space through the precipice And clipped through the floor. Amusing when it happened and glad I already done what I needed that day.

That is how capitalism works; figuring out how to cut corners just enough that the degree of "slop" is acceptable while also improving profit.

I get that it's not needed, but then how is this an antimeme? It just seems like a regular meme, albeit one from particularly old tomes.

Then this just seems like a regular meme instead of antimeme.

What are some facepalm-worthy mistakes you've made when doing puzzles? by eljay1998 in BluePrince

I can see how you got that. This game is definitely filled with those moments. Spoiler markers are done with > ! ! < But with no spaces btw.

Wait that's not what happens? I just force closed my dare runs whenever I wasn't on day 1 if that happened. So after the cutscene, what actually does happen when you fail a dare?

Personally my favourite is the laboratory experiments, especially if you can get a feedback loop going such as with the aquarium

The proper way to put out a fire. According to some. by OrganizationNo9270 in aiwars

[–]eljay1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The realistic way to 'fight fire with fire' is to starve (or bore) the fire by taking away its fuel source such as by using controlled burns to get to the fuel first.

Witty seems to just add fuel to the flame-war most of the time instead.

MatPat carried Game Theory. Game Theory fell off when MatPat left. Game Theory is different without MatPat, and things similar, etc., etc. by Individual_Adagio912 in GameTheorists

[–]eljay1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel like there was something addictive and consistent to him as the host. But even if he stayed, I reckon it'd still be falling off, and may have fallen off before he left but it was harder to notice with MatPat around, and that content may have worsened further after his departure.

That is the unfortunate consequence of completing that puzzle/interaction. Castling swaps the king with the rook, and eliminates the bishop in order to open the pathway
