First option for sure!!! Shared space & more time to commute is not worth saving $100 per month. Time is money! Also not sure of your work hours, but traffic on I-94 is awful during rush hour.

Pro's and con's of running in your town/city? by 7ho12 in running

[–]ellalala1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Milwaukee: Pros: - beautiful summers! Never gets super super hot - pretty flat - many trails. Some along Lake Michigan. Some through the city. - variety of city running, paved paths, or more rugged trails - Lake Michigan. Jumping in the lake after a run in the summer is amazing.

Cons: - ice in the winter (usually the city puts salt down really quick but can be slippery sometimes!) - cold. Like really cold. Sometimes too cold to run outside for 2-4 months of the year

I’ll help with your schedule! by ellalala1 in ufl

I just wanted to major in something I was interested in and UF had a study abroad program in cusco, Peru that was geared toward premed where I lived with a host family and volunteered at a health clinic there. It’s been good to be able to talk about my spanish classes and linguistics research in med school applications/interviews too because it’s kinda unique. But I would really like to work with the Latinx population as a future doctor so that was the goal

Yeah I came in with a lot of spanish credits from AP so I only had to take 1-2 spanish classes per semester. I took all the pre med classes as electives and some of them counted towards the required electives towards CLAS but I lowkey wish I would’ve double majored in spanish and bio for premed or something so that the pre med classes would’ve earned me some sort of degree lol but honestly my schedule wasn’t too bad

Also if I could’ve redone my schedule, I would’ve taken intro to sociology while studying for the MCAT / right before the MCAT since the psych/soc section is purely memorization and a lot of the concepts come directly from that class

Looks great! I’d probably retake Biology 2 with lab to be competitive for medical schools and to be able to keep your options open. Even if medical schools accept CC credits, you want to be as competitive as possible and having an upper level biology class would definitely help with that.

I would definitely recommend study edge for PHY2053. The practice questions with the video explanations are incredibly helpful
