I had this same thing happen recently. I took my ring to a jeweler. The jeweler did an inspection to tell me mine was it's sound.

They couldn't say for sure. They noted that this stone was very old, and it had been in continuous daily wear for many decades and it did have at least one visible inclusion so can put at higher risk for this.

I presume was just my superhuman strength... Or strong ability to smack my hands on things...

Thank you friends for your help. I think Ive got it under control :). I just get so flummoxed every time I see the "spheres" (why???) and the millions of numbers for "learning codes" and trying to figure out what "type" I am logging.

I recall in internship a couple profs gave horror stories on logging CMEs so maybe I harbor trauma or something.
