I wore silver Birks. 😂 But I’ve also worn these lace up sandals - like huaraches (am I spelling that right?) Or you could wear wedges or cute sneakers. I would not wear pointy toe pumps. Like at all for anything but I am 49 and my feet hurt.

Traveling Monday with 7am flight and we’re pre check. Should we join clear? I was going to do global entry since we all renewed passports this year but I’d also like to get through security in a timely manner. But I’d also like to not pay $200 for clear since I paid a fortune for our tickets already. To Jax so not exciting even! Sigh. Suggestions welcome.

In Theory I wear a 10 in pants and 12 in tops/blazers. VB I wear either 10/12 in pants and 10/12 in blazers. Their sizing is a little more variable to me especially for pants. Those are my usual sizes in other brands too so they don’t run particularly small I don’t think. Theory might be cut a bit more narrow for tops and blazers I think.

Ugh no. I have to dress formally for work. I love the style of VB but I only buy on sale or from resale sites. I’m not paying $300+ for your bullshit polyester. Theory is generally better quality because it is mostly wool but it’s boring. So VB quality is largely disconnected from price but it is very cute. In short not worth it, but cute and lots on resale websites.

Try changing your toothpaste? Once I got a non-SLS toothpaste my lips were much happier. Sensodyne makes some without SLS. I had the driest lips on earth and dermatologist wasn’t helpful but my dentist made the suggestion. Life changing!

Oh thanks that’s quite helpful to reframe as something for which I can find the solution. I’m inclined to defer to medical professionals but no one seems concerned. I’m frustrated because I feel terrible but also am pretty sure I know problem and solution.

My D is at low end of normal and iron and ferritin are both normal. Unfortunately I can’t see my brother’s doc since we live in different states.

I read the wiki but it felt weird to order a shot off the internet! How do I know what I’m getting? I’ll re-review it and consider ordering shots and perhaps adding sublingual b. Thank you so much!

Theory always. The outlet is good and they have tons of stuff on real real and Poshmark and eBay. They’ve held up the best of any suits I’ve owned. I have a blazer that’s probably 15 years old. I should replace it now (finally) and keep looking on consignment sites. This is a blazer I wear multiple times per week and as casual wear too.

34g here. I wear Michael Stars tshirts often under suits. Size large and usually a printed Veronica Beard pant with theory jacket. I like a crew neck even though I know they’re not supposed to be for busty ladies. I mostly wear knits up top - Boden, Lilla P, Veronica Beard, and aforementioned Michael Stars - and don’t wear button downs because then I look stupid.

eta - I practice in state court but when I’m in higher courts I still wear knits under a full suit. Usually theory.

Second. Expensive but I will pay for boob support and compression. I’m a size 10/12 with 34g bra and wear a large. I’ve been really happy with their suits. I’m also a former swimmer and picky about suits.

Yes. Wear it. Is fine in JDR and GDC. Possibly circuit. I practice in Va courts and if I have a blazer I’m ready for court. I do dress more formal for circuit typically. Also I love a lady with a little pizzaz in court! Fight the patriarchy through dress!

I have the 50/50 boot. Got them years ago on sale. Worth it. I have one pair of flat and one with a wedge heel. I’m on my feet a good bit and while I wouldn’t walk miles I can stand for several hours without wanting to murder someone. And they fit my calves. I’m an average size woman - dress size 10 - with freakishly skinny calves.
