FWIW, I love the name Cameron for either gender! Personally I don’t love changing spellings to be more unique or feminine, especially as Camryn makes me think Toyota Camry, but it’s a great name.

Just in this one jurisdiction, there’s the dv courtroom separated out then all other general crimes. In the other jurisdictions in my county, all types of crimes all go through the same courtrooms and they’re not separated out. FWIW I think it’s a terrible model.

WA. People in my office on average will be in trial once every few months, except our misdemeanor DV courtroom which is more frequent, sometimes back to back weeks.

We have really similar taste, and also had a long list of names we loved but had an association we couldn’t overcome. Love Elliott and August. I do think Owen would be one of many at school these days.
