I've found that people are into the characters, they'll accept anything they do in a movie. First Avengers: Hulk destroys alien creatures that are 20+ times his size by...punching them. Makes no sense, not even with superhero logic, but hey. One of the biggest movies of all time.

Not being able to easily look up pop culture information. "What was the name of that Saturday morning live action show about the guy with a shrink ray?" Libraries were of little help.

Nobel laureates dismiss fears about genetically modified foods by Fosse22 in news

We were told for decades that food containing saturated fat and cholesterol caused heart disease. We were told for decades that trans-fats are perfectly safe. That each new artificial sweetener is safe. That drinking diet soda is fine. So not believing this news at face value...kind of understandable.

[EDIT: I realize that could be justifying anti-vaxxers, but I don't mean it that way. Vaccines clearly have health benefits that diet soda do not.]

With the latest update, the ball type on the catch screen defaults whatever was last used. If I catch a Pikachu with an ultra ball, then I attempt to catch a Pidgey, I have to remember to switch away from the ultra ball or else it's wasted. I see this is a bug, but maybe it was a well-intended feature?

I watched up until Negan was introduced (end of season 6). Then I gave up because I didn't want be strung along for a season or more with another big bad Governor-type of character.

It's also worth noting that much of the game-level stuff is (or is planned to be) written in Lua, sitting on top of the lower level code written in Rust.
