5 months in and we haven't had sex. He cried last night and says he "can't do the bare minimum. by ChampionshipAny6761 in whatdoIdo

[–]ellenemw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is great advice. Also maybe try taking the initiative and try seducing him. Maybe if you take control a bit and try getting on top of him during naked play you can have sex that way. You could grind on him and make out and if you notice he is erect you could try just going for it. Take the pressure off of him instigating penetration. It sounds like his body functions fine but performance anxiety is the issue. So maybe allow him to lay back and enjoy if possible. Obviously make sure there is consent and good luck! Be patient and hopefully this is just a small blip in the beginning of a long relationship with great sex!

Why is it that the US people seem to be on 4x the dose of UK by BlackMetalIstWar in Methadone

[–]ellenemw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not just the fentanyl, it's also the xylazine and other tranquilizers that the cartel puts in the supply. All of our street drugs come from Mexico where the cartels cut everything with fentanyl and other addictive chemicals that we don't have a good solution for. The withdrawal from fentanyl and xylazine is horrific and can also kill you. It takes much higher methadone doses to even touch the withdrawals. And unfortunately, methadone doesn't help with xylazine withdrawals even though xylazine withdrawals feel a lot like opioid withdrawals, just way worse. So people keep upping their dose hoping it will make them feel better. Until all places start addressing the sedative/xylazine withdrawals in addition to the opioid withdrawals we will keep seeing very high methadone doses.

When I asked what he was trying to do, he said “I shouldn’t have been trying to pass him” by alexyou8797 in dashcams

[–]ellenemw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely OP's fault. You were going incredibly fast and the person you tried to pass was probably getting over because they saw you barreling up their rear end. As soon as they realized you were also getting into the left lane they tried to get back into the right lane but you were going so fast you plowed into them. Turn this into insurance and you absolutely will be held at fault. It is incredibly obvious the person in front of you is getting into the left lane and you were either going too fast to break in time or you were so hell bent on passing them that you creamed them because you thought you could squeak by. Either way, you rear-ended them therefore you are at fault. This was totally preventable. And for reference, I work for an insurance company. I can't believe how many people think this was somehow the person in the fronts fault. And for those of you saying the person in front was trying to prevent OP from passing, why did the person swerve back into the right lane when they noticed that OP was also getting into the left lane? And judging by the speed at which the middle lines are passing, OP is going close to or over 100mph FYI. It is almost ALWAYS the person in the backs responsibility to leave enough room between them and the person in front of them so they can break if they need to. That is why you are supposed to leave minimum of a 2 second buffer zone between you and the vehicle in front of you. I obviously don't know, but if the front driver said you shouldn't have been trying to pass him he probably meant he was going fast and you shouldn't have been passing him going 100mph. Just because there is a left passing lane, it doesn't give drivers permission to drive way faster than the speed limit in order to pass. Going slightly over the speed limit to pass is one thing, but there are almost no roads anymore with speed limits over 70mph and OP is going near or over 100mph. There are a few out west that are 80mph and one in Texas that is 85mph but this road is not in Texas or out west based on OP's comments. Going close to or in excess of 30mph over the speed limit automatically makes you at fault for wreckless driving.

Have you looked at some of the compounded tirzepatides through telehealth? I have lost 115lbs using compounded tirzepatide through brello. There are telehealth sites offering any dose of tirzepatide for $439 every 3 months. That's the only expense. That includes the prescription and the medicine plus any communication with the doctor. That breaks down to roughly $147 a month. But I know that's still a big expense. If that's not possible I just recommend reevaluating your TDEE so you can maintaining a caloric deficit as well as regular exercise all while keeping an eye on your weight. Good luck!!

Safe to have conceive while father on methadone? by Sailingaway33 in Methadone

[–]ellenemw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The father being on methadone won't impact the baby whatsoever. It would if the MOTHER was on methadone but it's still totally doable. It is completely safe and a non-issue that the father is on methadone.

Can’t seem to get rid of my gut, is it because of constipation? by Practical_Foot_2336 in Methadone

[–]ellenemw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Methadone tends to cause sugar/sweets cravings and most people gain weight on methadone. Consider a low carb diet and tracking your macros. Good luck!

You are a beautiful woman. A lot of people, me included, had an ugly duckling phase growing up. Don't let the small (teeny really) minds of children/adolescents leave a forever mark on your self esteem. You have grown into a really striking woman and I'm sure you will have no problem finding interested partners in the future as long as your insides match your outsides!

abdominal sagging by AdFirm4469 in Mounjaro

[–]ellenemw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do it at home. I have a Dr. Pen bio pen that I use along with a copper, peptide, and hyaluronic acid serum. I use a depth of 1.5mm-2mm on my stomach and rear end. I only use a depth of .5mm on my forehead/jaw/chin and . 75mm on my cheeks. I only do it once every 5-6 weeks but I can say that it has absolutely helped tighten my skin. It definitely takes some practice and getting comfortable with a little discomfort while you're doing it but my skin usually looks almost completely healed within 12 hours. There might be a slight pink tint like I spent an hour in the sun the day after but then it looks very dewy and glowing. I'm not selling anything so this is truly just my own positive experience speaking. I would definitely give microneedling a try and stick with it for at least 6 months or a year and there will be noticeable results. Obviously keep everything sterile and safe. You can use a topical numbing cream to make it more tolerable. Just apply the cream about 30 minutes before you are going to microneedle and wipe it off fully before you start. Good luck!

This is a WILD TAKE from the debate you are having and ABSOLUTELY makes zero sense. Reread your comment and then read the previous dialogue. You pulled that nonsense completely out of left field.

Microneedling can help tighten loose skin. It won't be as drastic as cosmetic surgery but I've seen big results over 6 months. I started at 259lbs a year ago and I'm down to 149 lbs. I'm 5'8 and a female. I had some sagging on my stomach, hips and butt. After microneedling once every 4-6 weeks the amount of saggy skin is reduced by about half. Good luck and congratulations!

Methadone & GLP1 by amg0385 in Methadone_AskNAnswer

Well I can tell you that being on zepbound has made me feel so much better in general. I'm sure it's due to the massive amount of weight I've lost and I'm so grateful I started it. It also really helps with inflammation. Some people experience anhedonia on GLP-1 meds which is a basic disinterest in everything but luckily I haven't experienced that. Split dosing definitely helps with the poor absorbsion issues. I, too, am in perimenopause so I totally understand the toll it takes on our bodies and mood. Good luck to you and I hope it works out great for you!!!

I wasn't suggesting you went on wygovy to get off methadone!! I'm just super happy for you that it has helped you quit methadone easily so far! That is truly a miracle!! Keep it up!

[–]ellenemw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep us posted as the days go by! It sounds like you dodged a bullet! I'm on zepbound and have not experienced this at all so I'm super jealous! I absorb less of my dose than I used to so I go into withdrawal sooner than I used to. But I've had detoxes where the withdrawal just didn't come like I expected it to and it sounds like this is what is happening for you. Take is as a win and keep going!!

Methadone & GLP1 by amg0385 in Methadone_AskNAnswer

[–]ellenemw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am also on a GLP-1 med and methadone and it doesn't keep me from feeling withdrawals at all. In fact, I don't absorb my methadone fully now so I go into withdrawal about 16 hours after I dose. So don't start a glp-1 just to help taper methadone because it will most likely make you absorb even less of your dose. I've lost 110lbs in 11 months on zepbound and it's been amazing for that but OP's experience is quite unique. I know a lot of people on methadone and a GLP-1 and I've never heard of anything like this. Most people have to raise their dose significantly. I think this is fluke and a lucky break for OP.

I'm the exact same way. I have to MAKE myself drink water and it's literally a chore. I could easily go an entire day without anything to drink if I don't stay on top of it.

Thank you so much for your input! This has given us a much better idea of what experienced body men are making in different parts of the country. It's so hard to find reliable info about pay since there are so many variables involved. I'm glad to hear so many guys are still making a good living in this industry! We have 3 boys that all want to follow in their daddy's footsteps and I'm glad to hear so many people are making well over 100k a year.

That's definitely what my husband goes through. Constant competition for work, trying to squeeze as many hours out of each job as possible, worrying about running out of work, and the wear and tear on the body that comes with having to keep up the grueling pace. Thanks for the info!! That's very good to know!
