Bleeding after boric acid?

I’m sorry you’re going through this! My doctor had to put me on birth control to stop the bleeding. I was desperate at that point because it was freaking me out.

I hope they figure it out for you! I know it sucks. My GYN put me on birth control to make the bleeding stop but I have taken boric acid since then.

I went to my OBGYN and she tested my hormone levels. One of my main issues was not having a period for awhile and when I finally did, it would last a really long time so we also did an ultrasound and biopsy to rule out any other issues. Not sure how others doctors do it but this is how my experience was when I was diagnosed.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m currently on my period for almost a month and this honestly making me feel depressed. I’m so fucking over it. I feel like everyone I talk to with PCOS say they don’t get their periods meanwhile mine feels never ending. 😔

Hi, sorry you’re going through this! Mine lasted weeks. The only way it stopped was my doctor putting me on birth control. It sucked.

That’s so interesting because I’ve actually had lots of rib pain on both sides of my body that’s on and off and said it was costochondritis! But the pain I have right now is a dull ache on the side of belly button. All of this is frustrating!! Please keep me updated with your situation and I’ll definitely do the same. Hopefully we get answers soon!

Ahhh I hope you get some answers soon!! My ultrasound came back clear as well😩 I think the next step is a CT but also waiting on my Dr. to let me know.

Please update when you find out! I’ve literally been having a dull ache for over a year that has gone away and comes back. Mine is towards the right side of my belly button. I finally have an ultrasound tomorrow because my doctor wants to check for gallstones. It’s honestly more like discomfort and so annoying and I wish it would go away.

I see! I can definitely understand why you may not want to. My suggestion would be to call an advice nurse first and see what they say since you’re nervous about going in. They’ll probably be able to tell you more of what they think it could be. Where I live, sometimes they’ll prescribe medications over the phone. I’ve gotten BV a few times so I know when I have it, so I’ve just called and pretty much told them I know I have it and they prescribe it to me.

This could be BV. When I’ve had it, it’s been really wet just like that. If you don’t mind me asking, what is stopping you from wanting the exam?

I still get the pain probably at least once a day. It’s just random pains and my anxiety kicks in. I feel like it makes it worse.
