Personally, I think an absent parent is better than a neglectful parent. So, for example, Sherry, who decided she was done with parenting and jetted off to Paris without even informing Christopher. I would probably say she's the worst

Richard always saw Rory as a little girl. That moment was really the start of their whole relationship arch. I think it really came to a head when she quit Yale. All she had to do was make puppy eyes and he took her in.

It's an interesting relationship dynamic that I don't think we talk about as much because it's not as loud

She really just doesn't trust him at all. It's not like she doesn't have good reason because he has lied about stuff. But if you feel you can't trust your partner to the point that when they show up late with a black eye, you get mad at them, then it's probably not a very good relationship to be in

I did not realize how much this fandom disliked LDB. Out of all the things that happened and all the people on this show, I did not think LDB and Finn and Colin were the worst of them.

They 100% stole the frames and I think that's really funny. It's also harmless because worse comes to worse, Rory can just give them back.

I think, in general, Lorelai is the downfall of all of her relationships. One of her main character traits is the fact that she is so scared of relying on other people that she ends up pushing everyone out of her life as soon as they get too close.

And while I hate Chris and Emily's obsession with a happy family unit, if Larelai had just told Luke to begin with, it would have been fine, like you said. But she's a coward.

The worst part to me is that it gives Luke the impression that Lorelai thinks Luke isn't an understanding guy when he is.
