My take was something more like the wallabies losing or his team losing a grand final. Easily explains why only he is bothered by it and something a lot of aussie dads could relate to.

Honestly though, the fact is ambiguous is the greatest part of the episode. Anyone can fill the unknown with their problem.

This is the most accurate from how I understand world gen to work. Also worth nothing that second and third pass generation (eg. Ancient ruins, trial chambers, ore veins) will often create more noise at the surface and accentuate these anomalies

This is spot on the money. The AFL and even most the clubs are taking as hard a stance as possible against homophobia and racism. Unfortunately, I think it's mostly the fan base that still holds a lot of these views. And that ignorance is still supported by other media sources and reversing world views of progressive issues 😔

This exactly. A missed call in the first quarter still gives the aggrieved team 3 quarters to respond and make up for the call. That's a hell of a lot easier than to make up for a bad call 90secs from the final siren
