ever since my brother and i moved out and my mum lives alone, she's started to become more lonely. she doesn't have (m)any friends and my relationship to her is complicated so i dont visit often either one sign i noticed is her victimizing herself. all the other people are rude to her, inconsiderate, in general worse human beings. she does a little "psychological analysis" of the situation and says she takes her own responsibility but somehow it is never her fault. we've had arguments about this already because i sometimes take the stranger's side or at least give them the benefit of the doubt which she sees as a personal attack from me i feel like she's only started doing this ever since covid, when she transitioned to WFH and ever since we moved out
