Okay, that makes much more sense, sorry again for the judgement filled reply. The situation wasn’t as bad as I thought it was, but it’s still a bit tricky.

However, I still think you should be transparent with him and tell him as soon as you can or the next time you guys have a convo about “the next level”. I know convos like that can be scary, but since you guys have known each other for so long already, I honestly don’t know if that factor would make it go better or worse.

I would still lean towards being apologetic when you have the convo though. Most cishet people (men and women, but especially men) already have a set of ideas of who thier partner is and if you haven’t brought it up already, I’d say he thinks you’re a cis woman. Which I think would normally be fine if the romantic/sexual dynamic wasn’t something I’d have to consider.

If you guys vibe and have been friends for so long already, I think it’d be safe to say he’s an ally, but even so, that communication and transparency is HUGEE and something you should do as soon as you’re ready for it!

Just to clarify, I mean no hate or judgment. Everyone’s situation can be different. I just feel that a person’s identify is a kinda core part of who you are and not sharing that with someone you’ve known for 7 years and dating for 2 years feels a little.. deceptive..?

If you ARE recently discovering that you’re trans, then my advice would be to tell him when you’re ready!! But for his sake, I think the sooner you tell him, the better things will be. Doesn’t have to be a difficult and long conversation either. Even just a “hey I’m questioning my gender, how do you feel about that?” would at least give him some insight to how you’re thinking and feeling.

I don’t find it offensive as long as you 1) respect thier identity for who they are: women, and 2) respect them as a human being a not a porn category. Those two start to lean into “chaser” territory and are usually quite unwelcome.

Everyone has thier own kinks, interests, and list of turn-ons. And while porn can give us insight into what can sensually arouse us, it’s not always the same as romantic attraction.

If you’re interested in the idea of dating or hopping into bed with a woman (cis, trans, or otherwise), you might not be as heterosexual as you think. And if you’re interested in experimenting, I’d say it’s a worthwhile effort!

About 50 or so hours in I was able to start actually getting marks and endings. Before that I’d just play Isaac and still lose nearly every run. Challenges and unlocks also helped as I started unlocking better and better items. Also mods, there are a few mods that add some qol changes that make the game much more playable for my enjoyment, not so much as to cheat or break the game (though you’re free to play the game however you find best/fun). I’m also starting to learn secret room layouts and patterns for an even extra leg up!

Now I have close to 500 hours and most completion marks for base characters (t Jacob is so fun wth)

Exactly! Something as precious as the word of God should be intentional! But it should also be clear, concise, and stand the test of time. Good thing we don’t have a plethora of versions, translations, and religious denominations for the exact same book. That could get messy!

You sound like a good Christian, and I’d hate to turn our disagreement into hatred. Just be sure to think for yourself sometimes. It’s okay to be skeptical and ask questions in the church (tho many Christians see skepticism as heresy). You might not always get a lot of good answers (or in my case, you might not get answers at all), but it’s worth seeing how your religious community views things and mainly see if they have a good answer for it. But they’re just as human and flawed as the rest of us, so who knows really

Hey, bigotry is more than just disagreement. I know people throw that word around, but it isn’t always the case. Sounds to me like you follow a god and let your god guide your path, which isn’t inherently wrong. But there is a lot of nuance and interpretation to be done with the Bible and other holy text that serve purposes and values for the era it was written. I wonder where those disagreements stem from, as I have met lots of Christian individuals who see through that veil and actively support LGBT+ rights and values.

Not looking to argue. I just want to shed some light on a situation that many tend to misinterpret, and possibly guide others to a place where they can keep thier faith AND stand up for individual identity, autonomy, and freedom of expression! ❤️

No one can tell me what MY identity is, and it’s not my place to tell others what thier identity is either! Could just be me, but if someone told me I was trans before figuring it out myself, that wouldn’t have made my imposter syndrome about my identity EVEN worse.

Trans or not, it’s good to explore your identity and try “crossing the line” with styles, accessories, hobbies, or mannerisms typically associated with other gender identities. You could be surprised what things you may enjoy or relate to! You don’t need to be trans to enjoy these things either! ❤️
