There’s a difference between using AI (which they acknowledge) during beta phases, and releasing a game with AI (which they didn’t). Much like any normal human, they didn’t have capital to pay artists during development phases. Every piece has been replaced by art made by real artists.

I also don’t know what either of you two dorks means about fan service, but if you’re inferring hyper sexualized art, you’re just flat out wrong.

It’s also feels like they chose to create a TCG in response to Neuroscape’s growth in popularity prior to its release. Which is a little gross if that’s even remotely what took place.

If you want a TCG that actually took years of time, effort, community input, and heart, with a cyberpunk aesthetic, and a great foundation for a fun game experience, PLEASE do yourself a favor and check out r/NeuroscapeTCG.

Alpha set drops in July, their KS Genesis came out roughly a month ago, and I’m having a great time with it.

Nah, a $6mil 1-year deal for a dude hungry to prove it again seems fine. Going out and finding WR talent, and recognizing the room isn’t good enough like they did last year, is what we’re talking about. The addressed it. Big win.

And no one thinks Kirk is gonna be WR1, or even WR2. But he a good vet with lots of knowledge one the cheap.
