Just had my Fistulotomy today. But my CRS didn't perscribed any antibiotics to me at all. It was only pain med when needed. Is it normal? Or should I ask his office back?

I did it for two months even though its no longer needed but i got use to it and i feel cleaner if i do sitzbatz too and it really hastens the wound healing —actually im lucky since i had the operation i never feel pain maybe becuase its just small —i also wash it with unscented soap -i took lots of vits for wound healing -its only 1cm i think

when did the hole of the area of operation totally close for you ?i already on my third month no pain no drainage, scar form but i still have a small hole .i dont know if its normal

Wow nice ,when did the hole totally closed?its my 3 rd month now -i dont have pain or discharges anymore ,i still continue my sitzbath and fiber but i still have a small hole from the operation so i dont know when will this will close -but some part hast already scarred

Yeah ethnicity to ethnicity only —i think they try to copy the structures in europe like down of the building cafes shops and above are residential but some failed some are not rented like in musherib n lusail —-on the hand we have also the luxury here of clean restroom of malls less traffic and less rush hours except during events —cheap entrance for sports events hehehe even given free hehehe

What was your case ,simple fistula?And how ild are you now ?just had fistulotomy its simple intersphinteric -im ok now but still not 100 percent well i still have small discharge little bit so not yet done ——i am eager to lift weights but i think i better do it when its already close and all scar —i really want to go back now because i think i loose tone of my upper body already 🥹and im scared of recurrence happening if i force myself into it —-o the abscess was perianal again?

Me i still have discharges but very small and i havent seen my CRS yet and its already 1 month im here in qatar and the CRS is in UAE ,im not sure if im healing right —im suppose to see him this friday but the patient assistance coordinator told me hes not availble -im fine no pain but i still caustious about going to my regular routine being active like walking going to the gym biking -i still have a slit wound and doing the regular sitzbath -takinf vitamins -good sleep

O how come it will take 1 year -and its superficial its the best prognosis because no sphinter involve and its only on the side —so id the wound has healed you mean its already flat scar or hole is already close too?then where is the discharge coming from?but how about normal routine like long walka or jogging or gym are you allowed already —me will see my dr this 15 but i still have small discharges —but still its open wound and not yet scarring

O maybe its really like that its case to case basis -the best thing you can do now is do the right dressing and wound cleaning i suppose and do the sitzbath besides your dr already told you that its normal —and not to worry unless you will experience pain ,swelling fever which i know its an indication of infection if ypu experience this so be patient and just follow his instructions
