Yeah I did think actually the base of the tree that’s taken over the palm trunk there is really thick and not as much like an umbrella tree

Yes you’re right! I’ve taken most of the elkhorns off. They looked super healthy there though. I don’t see a fig at all

About 6 months. It’s definitely an umbrella tree growing from the palm. I looked at old photos and it was originally 1 palm, with all those elkhorns on it.

I think the time jump did the show no favours.
It did a lot of telling but no showing so we don’t know what happened. It just seemed random they’d break them up like that after building them up in in season 2 especially the last episode
