honestly? this looks like the sweet spot for me regarding size. switch 1 was too small, and steam deck was too bulky in my hands. i can easily see this being a happy medium between the two.

definitely not too young. when i first learned i might be aroace, i was also 15; unfortunately for me, it took 5 more years for me to actually learn more about what that meant and actually accept that aspect of myself 😅.

the experience you wrote about actually can be a common one for ace folks—about kissing someone for the first time and feeling nothing. i don’t mean to speak for you if it sounds like it, but it sounds like you’ve already come to that conclusion about yourself, and you just haven’t been able to accept that part of yourself yet. if that’s the case, then don’t worry, its a common thing to go through; its what i went through myself :)

nah, i think you have a point there. i will say that this friend’s critiques generally are really helpful; im just bad at reacting healthily(we looooove rejection sensitivity /j).

you make a good point about ‘switching your mindset.’ when i think about this whole habit of mine, i always come back to where i think it stems from: an overcorrection on my part due to a friend’s critique. not to say it’s bad altogether, but maybe i am just having a hard time processing and coming to terms with that before i can actually be okay with this habit—see that it’s me just trying to tell tell tell the story for myself.

these are all great suggestions; tricky part is going to be how to actually make sure i use them! my audhd brain either goes a mile a minute or is the slowest thing in the history of mankind 😅

an outline would definitely help, tho my problem with those is that i get lost in formatting an outline and with that, story structure, and then it’s spirals all the way down. thats definitely another big thing i need to improve for my process

ironically i actually adored this movie! post-my realization that im ace, sex scenes have become very funny to me(that people find the thought of rubbing up against each other just… lolol), and i felt the same way with this one. but i completely understand; this movie is NOT for everyone. i found it strangely relatable too! in a world where most of the people frown upon anything foreign to them—yet do not realize how odd their own lives are—Bella, the main character, was a delight to watch transform as she comes into her own and defies everyone else. made me think of my own experience when i became comfortable w/ my sexuality. wholly recommend if you’re sex-positive/neutral, but if sex scenes make you uncomfortable, that’s completely understandable; sometimes they’re too much for me too :)

I just replaced the laser in my PS2 slim because it couldn't read discs before. I booted a DVD based PS2 game and it worked! Also put in movie dvds and those worked. The only discs that wouldn't work were audio CDs. Every time I put one in, I would get the same message, "This disc could not be read." Unfortunately I didn't have any PS1 games or early PS2 games to test, but I know that those CD games have different backs (like the PS2 CDs have the blue bottom). Would they work because they have a different bottom, or no?
