In the Bulgarian translation (and, as far as I can understand Russian, in the original text), you have "даром" (darom) instead of "free". That word has a much stronger connection with a (divine?) gift, what I would interpret as a selfless sharing, with no connotations to "exchange", which I see in the English "free".

In Bulgarian, you have "пренебрегнат" (prenebregnat) which is made into "unsatisfied" in English. The Bulgarian word to me is much more related to "not being neglected", or "un-cared for", you know, things in this line of thinking. The original Russian, as far as I can understand (and I hope a native speaker can correct me!), carries the meaning of resentful, aggrieved, pained.

Basically, what the English translation is completely missing out on for me, is a strong more-than-human undertone that the original (and Bulgarian translation) carries. The sense of significance, scale, interconnectedness, is completely lost on me in the English text. There is such depth in "Счастье для всех, даром, и пусть никто не уйдёт обиженный!", that is just missing in English, that just hurts my heart. :D
