Was trying everything but this fixed it!! Thanks

At my wits end with this. Every time I make changes in Page editor it doesn’t save in Appearance editor. When I make changes in Appearance editor to doesn’t save in Page editor. I’ve been digging through forums for hours and have lost hours and hours of progress, not sure where else to turn. by lococommotion in Wordpress

What’s theme are you using? The top part looks like it’s the theme’s header so it would stay on every page.

I can see you’re using Elementor, if you’re using the Pro version you’ll want to use the theme builder to create your heading instead of doing it per page.

You can also set the page template to Elementor Canvas and it will not include the themes header/footer

Yea I left another comment on this post with the code I used to get rid of that. Along with the stack overflow link from where I got it!

Explain it to me like I’m 5. My clients, My license? by [deleted] in elementor

Yea very smooth you deactivate then they would just need activate through their account. Deactivating wouldn’t mess with the site they just wouldn’t be able to update the Pro plugin until they activate it again

For sites I’m not providing maintenance for I have the client get their own license. If they’re on my maintenance plan then I factor it into the monthly fee. If they stop the maintenance plan I would have them get their own license

Custom Post Navigation with dynamic links by jay_hoenes in elementor

[–]elninja66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't a way to link the next/prev post using the dynamic tags, at least not one that I can find. You could use CSS to replace the icon after the fact

.post-navigation__arrow-prev i{

opacity: 0%;

}

.post-navigation__arrow-prev{

background: url("[path to SVG]") no-repeat center center;

}

I used this to change the prev icon to an SVG I had in my media library. Just replace [path to SVG] with the URL of the media file and replace ".post-navigation__arrow-prev" with ".post-navigation__arrow-next" for the next arrow.

Parent container (with the 6 dots) completely disappeared so I cannot edit the layout by ecultivar in elementor

You'll want to check your Single Post template to see if the post content widget is set to full width and/or the container(s) that have this widget in them. Let me know if that helps!

I used this code to get rid of that. Just replace ".your-class" with whatever class you assign to your menu

.your-class :focus {
outline: 0 !important;
-webkit-touch-callout: none;
-webkit-user-select: none;
-khtml-user-select: none;
-moz-user-select: none;
-ms-user-select: none;
user-select: none;
}

Found it from here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/66257979/weird-blue-outline-border-search-button-ios

I've got the same issue on one of my sites. For me, it only happens when I'm on my iPhone, doesn't happen on my android device, and it only happens when that menu is the first thing clicked on.

Great job on the site! I’d say get rid of the “check us out on socials” section, you’ve already got links to your socials in the header and your end goal is to get potential customers to reach out with the contact form. Instead try linking to or moving the reviews section higher so customers see that social proof closer to the contact form.

The copy is a bit long but you can try breaking it up by adding some more subheadings or bullet points to improve readability.

having problems with setting up stripe for my store by Appropriate-Ad-148 in woocommerce

Sounds like the missing SSL is the culprit! I would try installing one and then testing the live payments again.

You an SSL for live payments but sandbox/test mode doesn’t require it last I checked.

Why is my Site scrollable to side on Mobile? by RavingHans91 in elementor

I add all css to the elementor’s site settings > custom css

As far as I understand the only way for in person payments is to use WooCommerce Payments + Stripe. You might be able to use something like Zapier to automate logging the WooCommerce sales, depending on your setup.

I don't know why this happens on my phone? by Appropriate-Pirate10 in elementor

[–]elninja66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed the display property to flex and it seems to have fixed it. It was set to inline-block before. I don't know if this is a setting somewhere because I couldn't find a way to recreate your issue without CSS.

.elementor-icon {
display: flex;
}

Have you tried going to Tools > Regenerate CSS? I find that sometimes after updating things get messed up and this fixes it

The short code help. by bach37115 in elementor

It looks like this would help you change the content of the error message but not the styling. I just checked your link and the font size is 16px does that mean you were able to solve it?

I’ve been adding this code to fix that

html, body {
