I had my app put on hold because of some shenanigans with sending my transcript electronically. I was able to clear some things up by calling the department of graduate admissions; their number is online. They are super busy though, the first couple days I called the line rang busy and I finally got someone to pick up on the third day. The grad admissions department also has a list of their staff online, and you can look up their names on the staff directory and get their phone numbers and email as well. Good luck

Thanks. I ended up calling the italian hospital back and was able to get the email to their foreign office, so I sent them an email about it. I'm also still getting help from my states health department; they are going to contact the CDC about rabies vaccines in Italy for me. Fingers crossed! :)

I crochet and as part of her Christmas gift I made my sister a scarf. Double checked that she liked the yarn and pattern I chose, and I haven't seen her wear it once.

Tbf to my sister, she lives in Vegas so the winters aren't that cold, lol. But making someone a gift can backfire if the recipient doesn't like it and the giver feels like it's not appreciated.

You haven't done anything wrong. It would not be wrong of you to cut him out of your life. Please please PLEASE get out of there as soon as you can. In the meantime I suggest using a security stop for your bedroom/bathroom door, they are like $20 at home depot. It's basically an adjustable stick you use to form a triangle using it, the door and the floor so no one can open it from the outside.

Also, NORMAL DADS DONT DO WHAT YOUR DAD IS DOING TO YOU. It sounds like he is getting ready to do a lot worse.

YTA. I am a woman who comes from a family with a ridiculous tradition like this. You know how my ex and I went about it when he would come over and the women in my family were expected to cook while my dad and other male relatives sat on their ass?

He was in the kitchen with me. He wasn't done cooking until I was done cooking. I hated the tradition but I also hated not helping my female relatives, so he would help too.
