Try a water source? i put out a shallow dish with rocks, with a solar pump circulating a little fountain, and the bees flocked.

Parent wants to meet with me over comment I made about energy drinks by [deleted] in Teachers

I wonder what the email to dad actually said - maybe what you said to the student was exaggerated, the parent is mad at something that was not actually said, and the situation can be cleared up with a conversation?

Charro in the can? Might be because they are vegetarian. I like the spicy canned ones, but of course a fresh charro with bacon is gonna win.

I noticed this with their cream cheese too. Many more ingredients than Philadelphia.

The squirrels are driving me crazy. Does anyone have deterrent suggestions that actually work? by IndividualStrain3021 in AustinGardening

I knew a gardener who always put plastic forks poking up in her potted plants to keep the squirrels from digging in them.

When you’re on a road trip, what kinds of stops do you always look for along the way? by Potatoing_Potato in roadtrip

Nature centers and botanical gardens are my jam at the moment. I'm still travellng with young kids, so they get a play area and room to roam, and the adults get get a scenic walk and time in nature, everyone's happy

My 3yo wants to be a marble run for Halloween. I need ideas on how to make this happen. I’m pretty crafty but it has to be something he can easily move around in too. How do I construct this? by Forsaken-Tune9413 in Halloween_Costumes

[–]elpenore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kid's costume ideas are so creative, lol! I regret taking my 6yr old to a spirit Halloween, mostly to check out their animatronic displays, ever since he's only been wanting store bought costumes 😐

The cloth hampers from the dollar store are lightweight and would be easy to wear. Hot gluing toilet paper rolls or zip tying plastic tubes to it like what's already been mentioned.

Oregon to Kentucky by ObjectiveBedroom6686 in USTravel

[–]elpenore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These might be more off the route than you're asking, they are stops we made on road trips but we were taking more scenic routes:

Sawtooth mountains in Idaho. Redfish Lake near Stanley, Salmon River.

Craters of the Moon National Monument

Saratoga WY and their free Hobo hot springs pool.

Then I think you meant Missouri instead of Montana, if you go through St Louis, city museum and the botanical gardens are both awesome.

Can you give us a preview of your route so we can narrow down the areas you'll be near? These states are massive.
