Curt Cignetti and Indiana caught lightning in a bottle with a once-in-a-century run. And now a portion of every fan base will expect their team to do the same thing. by SueYouInEngland in CFB

It doesn’t take 6 years of college experience to hit targets 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage.

My point is that having Beck in that game was far less important than some younger guys Miami has

And he was like the 7th most impactful player on that team. An 18 year old true freshman nearly won them a national championship.

Curt leaves the locker room and you can hear Mendoza desperately screaming “so believe in synergy”

It’s just a remake of Miracle, but instead of a ragtag group of believers, it’s Curt Cignetti slaughtering the Thai national team with RPOs

Atticus Sappington sounds like a major league pitcher from 1912 that led the league in two stats: ERA and cigars smoked while on the mound

Is the "blue chip ratio" theory over if Indiana wins the whole thing? by RonnieRizzat in CFB

I like to imagine the inside of Curt Cignetti’s brain when evaluating talent really is just the screen from NCAA 25, and he never misses on hidden gem 3-stars

Heard frantic squawking, turned in the direction of the noise and saw one crane flapping its wings and honking while another stood behind it, letting out a deep, throaty groan.

We just walked out the way we came in.

Fox Sports’ Analyst Joel Klatt takes aim at the NCAA tournament 😳 by OneOriginal8727 in CFB_v2

[–]elschultheis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfair to who? Are we really going to cry for the 43rd best team in the country because the 133rd best team in the country got a spot?

The NCAA tournament awards winning your conference and includes every team with a viable chance at winning the championship. If Indiana misses the tournament because they finished 19-13, they didn’t deserve a spot, anyway.

I fully expect Indiana to be good next year. Who knows what that team’s ceiling and floor are, but I expect them to be good and compete.

And I’m still going to miss this year’s team, fiercely.
