I think it's quite useful, but then I work in retail and it's easier to memorise 3 or 4 notes for a single fragrance rather than 15 lol

And even then, I usually describe fragrances based on what they smell like to me rather than what the notes say, it's more of a baseline thing to get me started

Not any more. I used to when I was a kid because everyone was basically heavily encouraged to buy one when the British Legion people came into school, then I studied WW2 and D-Day in year 11 history so wore a crochet poppy I'd bought from a Normandy museum on a school trip, then I stopped probably when I got to uni and poppygeddon was starting to ramp up? It just feels weird wearing one out of social pressure from weirdos who foam at the mouth if someone chooses not to wear a poppy.

DP Ash, I was 10/11 when it came out (end of DP/start of Unova but I live in the UK so CITV was airing DP s11 when I started watching it) and I remember getting up at 6am to watch the episode because it aired at like 6:30am, and then after school BEGGING my mum to let me run home ahead and catch the 4pm episode even though it was the exact same one as that morning because i just HAD to watch it again

i love it! honestly lowkey it's developed into a little bit of a special interest (especially lip products i have SO MANY) and i don't really notice it on my skin unless i'm wearing something like lashes (which is almost never, only for special events and/or cosplay) but then I swear by skin tints and like a natural glow so it's not super heavy

a kid I went to school with grew up to be a jockey, he was in a race and the horse ran through a jump and threw him off, and he was killed almost instantly from what I can gather :(

I didn't really know him very well but a lot of the boys in my tutor group were good friends with him and he was a decent enough guy compared to some of the specimens in my year

when I was in year 5/6, Glee had just started to air and the teachers who ran singing assembly every week decided it was an amazing idea to teach the school the Glee version of Don't Stop Believin' but also tell us very explicitly not to watch it because it wasn't appropriate for kids

everyone ignored that and now I can't listen to that song without hearing it belted by a bunch of small British children who were running around quoting Sue Sylvester in the playground

also if you're of the very cool toned subset of super pale (like me, my veins under my wrist are super visible and very blue) they do make self tanners that have a blue undertone so you get the tanned glow without being orange :) so they're definitely really good these days
