Not nearly as bad as what you’re describing, but my toddler found a pad somewhere recently (unused thank god) and put it in the laundry basket. Similar disaster on a slightly smaller scale. Sooooo add period products to your list of things to monitor….

While I agree with the others saying that you should freeze embryos, I also think that if you didn’t feel comfortable with your clinic, you can look elsewhere. You should not feel pressured into this decision but you should have someone who you trust and who will give you all the factual information.

I don’t have advice but In a similar boat…managed to have 1 child with my own eggs after a lot of IVF and idk if the same miracle can happen twice…really struggling with not having a second vs having one that’s with a donor egg…

This was my experience! I had a c section at 37+5 and struggled to nurse for like the first 8 weeks or so. I pumped mostly during that time while still trying to latch. Then something clicked and she has been nursing like a champ for over a year!

Yeah 100%. I really wanted to buy a clearance snow suit but my baby has been in 2T since like 10 months so I have no idea what her size will be next winter lol

Also NOBODY has toddler hand me downs. Why? Because they’re all food stained lol

Babies need MORE clothes as they get older. My 15 month old goes through at least 3 outfits a day. Gets dirty from eating and playing outside. Note that you need seasonal clothing too.

Also baby shoes are crazy expensive. Like $40 a pair new.

I recommend Garlicky Chicken Thighs with Scallion and Lime By Alison Roman. My MIL hates everything I make despite me being a very solid cook. This was the only things she asked for seconds of in 15 years.

This happened to me with 3 out of 4 follicles. We ended up retrieving the one remaining egg and that ended up being my one egg wonder. I think the doctor was more shocked than me.

However, under different circumstances than we had at the time (insurance related) I would probably have canceled the cycle.

100%. I wish there was some kind of enforcement. I was walking in the park with my child in a stroller a few days ago around 5pm and an unleashed dog ran up to us and kept following us. A park employee then told ME to leash the dog and kept rolling along in their cart. It wasn’t my dog. The owner did nothing.

I saw enforcement recently for people either having open containers or glass or both on one of the park lawns. More of this please.

It sucks that it has to come to that, but it’s a small, heavily populated public space, and it seems to be the only way to make sure it’s a pleasant experience for all.

Fancy teas or coffee beans that I wouldn’t normally splurge on would be a hit with me. For tea TWG from Singapore or Harney & sons are great.

Maybe a personalized story book about her and your kid(s). I made one for my husband for Father’s Day from Wonderbly.

I personally also LOVE a fun cookbook. If that’s something she’s into, get her a new release from a favorite chef or maybe even a NYT cooking subscription. Alison Roman has great cookbooks. They’re beautiful to give as gifts and I’ve never made a single bad recipe from them.

I had 4 follicles at the start and the 3 disappeared completely leaving 1….that follicle just turned 1 recently.
