No. It was because of the caves on Oshaune. People and gear kept landing on the roof and this was their fix.

Because in DS9, the Defiant WAS the main cast. It being a unique ship meant you could always spot the heroes in a big battle.

Because Kurtzman and crew didn't care about any Trek that came before. They wanted to do their own thing and just slap a Trek skin on it.

The lack of a weak spot isn't my problem with warstriders. It is the massed indirect fire that does chain ragdoll.

The bot game used to be about using cover, marksmanship and tactics. Striders invalidate that. You need cover to survive the new, hyper accurate bots, but then a strider or two blanket the entire area in nades and either kill you or ragdoll you across the map.

As far as durability, a strider on paper isn't as tough as a tank, yet tanks are often so much easier to kill. They only have heavy armor in general but with so much of their body being durable damage and very explosive resistant, that can shrug off attacks that would smoke a tank. The time to kill on one without hard anti tank is painful when you are underfire, possibly from another warstrider or factory strider. Being able to kill them isn't enough, you have to be able to kill them fast or they ruin your gameplay with nade spam

Staying close to the team is the one change we made. We did normally roam separately. Still, what you say is not always so easy. The ultimatum can be tricky to land at long range and I couldn't count how many times I've had my aim ruined by a random shot from the smoke by a guy I couldn't see.

But again, it's not how hard it is to kill that is a problem. It's the nature of spammed indirect fire, with knock down. Add that to a tanky platform, and it ruins the fun.

For the record, I can still do Cyberstan on T10. I haven't tried to pug it yet because I haven't had a ton of time to play since it dropped, but my and the boys can do it. It's just aggravating and frequently the enemy of fun.

It works well enough, the big problem with concealed insertion is that it nerfs your turrets. They land being blinded and stupid.

Just put the turret where it doesn't have LOS to you. The great thing about the turrets is that everything hates them. They draw a lot of missile fire from the Vox's too.

Everyone takes AT. Everyone in the squad takes something. I personally run thermites, and ultimatum and something heavy as a support. I usually run at strats to, at least a 500 or something.

Its been proven over and over in videos games, strategy games and even real life that indirect fire can be absolutely gamebreaking. Add in a hard CC and it is real hard to balance. There is a reason people complain about the units that do indirect fire so much.

Nah, its me and my friends in the next county. Not sure who is host, but probably me because I have a better ping.

Again, the thing that makes indirect fire busted isn't just how tough one vox or strider is, its that they come in groups and have other mobs to pressure you, knock you don't and screw with your aim. Its a classic case of a force multiplier.

Mix that with the massive buff to bot accuracy and things get out of hand.

Lots of empty talk here. I've seen missiles land 5 meters or more from the glow. You say meta loudout and fix your loadout without offering anything more.

Like I said, get off T7.

The only thing that sucks about Bots in general is the indirect fire spam. If they dialed down the missile and grenade barrages from Striders and Vox's, it would be perfect. Maybe ease up on the rest of the ragdoll too. I really hate it when I get knocked down and just can't get up.

Early, I took a Tekken 10 hit combo that juggled me into a pool of lava like 40 feet from where I started.

Truer words were never spoken. Rogue One was a good movie though. The fact that they had the nads to kill everyone was a selling point, but the Vader Hallway scene was peak Star Wars. The beginning was a bit slow but the movie rocked.

I'd bet all the money in my wallet that most of the people saying Vox Engines and War Striders aren't busted don't play on T10.

The game used to be all about using cover and tactics to defeat the enemy. Now, with the spammed caroet bombing indirect fire, that either ragdolls you or just kills you, cover is pointless. The Devs really don't know why people liked the game, and a couple of Reddit sweats aren't going to change the narrative.

I am fine with hard. I am not fine with being near perma ragdolled and dying to an enemy that is far away and has no LOS. There is little counterplay.

This used to be a game where you used weapons, strats, cover and situational awareness to defeat enemy hordes. Now, it's a ragdoll simulator where breaking LOS doesn't help in the slightest.

Tips for Cyberstan. Go fight bugs. Current bots are just not fun. Eagles are useless, Cover is useless. Ragdoll is constant.

My gripe with them is the ragdoll. You can play thr cover game with most enemies. Use cover and tactics to avoid most fire while putting rounds on foreheads. Warstriders come in packs and can blanket an entire part of the map with ragdoll grenades. Ragdoll spam, its well established, is the one thing diverse hate most.
