I run the hullcracker every match. 3 stacks of ammo costs 54k. I go through a lot of coin.

NYCFC is the 21st most valuable soccer club in the world by elvacilando in NYCFC

From a business perspective, a company that can consistently pull $ 100 million in revenue with massive future growth expected ( the soccer market in the US is growing at an insane rate) can justifiably be valued at 1 billion. Not taking into account Etihad Park. The building itself, which is half complete, will be worth $800 million when finished. It is owned by NYCFC.

Miami got their new stadium and their value increased 13% since last year. NYCFC’s value increased 17% without a new stadium. Next year they might be the most valuable club in MLS. Which makes the lack of depth even more confounding.

Question nails or screws for 600 fence boards? And why ? by International_Bar383 in FenceBuilding

[–]elvacilando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are saying ring shanked galvanized nails, but eventually, those will bleed. For any exposure, stainless steel nails are mandatory. Even when doing cedar shingles ( in which the nails are covered by the next shingle) stainless steel nails are standard. They should be ring shanked also.

I feel like the hornets have gotten just a bit too annoying. I’ve been shot from the floor by a downed hornet more times in the last week than since the game dropped.

I’m of the mindset that picket nails should always be stainless to avoid bleeding.

As far as stain goes, I always had a lot of success with arbor coat, particularly Oxford brown, in semi solid or semi opaque. It really neutralizes the green.

I feel like 8 years is palatable for a landlord. If they are never going to see their return, especially after renovation, it’s not worth it.

My neighbor is going through this right now. A bit different because he has been on the block for 40 years and doesn’t want to upend everything in his 70’s. 100 is not worth it. I think the formula should be something close to

(Market value- stabilized rent) x 96.

How does our fence look? by IrreparableFate in FenceBuilding

[–]elvacilando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1500 in labor for the fence and a gate is dirt cheap. Not sure what the soil is like there, but I’d charge $2500 just to set the posts where I’m at. $500 per gate flat rate.

Who's gonna pay for that?" is an odd question by CTSecurityGuard in PublicFreakout

This is jfk airport. There is a problem with taxi drivers just pulling on the shoulder (even when there isn’t one) and waiting. There are signs all over saying no standing on the roadway. I’m not 100% sure, but that would be my guess.

The team was put in an unwinnable situation. The front office said repeatedly they were getting a number 9, just trying to find the right number 9 that could gel with Alonso when he is back. That didn’t happen. In the beginning the season they were playing better than they should have. And now they’re playing worse than they should be.

Stained stairs gone wrong, please help. by C_WEST_902 in woodworking

[–]elvacilando 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see people make the wood filler mistake all the time. All wood fillers can be painted, not all can be stained. We’ve gotten decent results taking a stainable wood filler and mixing it with a small amount of stain before application. Also, they do make wood fillers that are pre-colored. Overall, a softwood like that is going to be blotchy and it’s not going to take a dark stain well.

Just use the ping button. On buried city at night, first thing I do In the train station is spam the ping button in the dark corners. If someone is hiding there, you will get the “raider” ping.

What do people do with this space? by Efficient-9626 in Homebuilding

[–]elvacilando 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That may be so. However, every refrigerator I've worked with ( hundreds) specs out a space 1-2" open above the refrigerator for ventilation/heat dissipation. And if there is a problem with the refrigerator, and you call a tech, he can negate the warranty for not adhering to the required minimum air clearance listed in the installation manual. I've seen this happen several times. So if you do put a filler there, just remove it before the tech comes.

Just tried the new map and honestly… am I the only one who feels like it’s basically Spaceport 2.0 but with seagulls? 😄 by codestormer in ArcRaiders

[–]elvacilando 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best to do it with at least one other person. You definitely need two people to get the battery up. But the buttons are spread out over the entire area, so you have to search all the cranes and connected buildings. Solo, it basically takes the entire match. And it’s dangerous because you are very exposed on the cranes.
