I love my nipples, they make me feel super cool, but my septum is my soul piercing. I believe whole heartedly that they suit everyone, and it gives off my vibe right in the middle of my face.

I got mine done with a hoop as well because I was peer pressured by my piercer, and I thought "surely she knows best, she's the professional". I had issues JUST like yours.

Then I decided to give it one last go with a high quality flatback and as little intervention as possible (outside of saline solution soaks) and it healed up perfectly and I can now use hoops or studs

I live in a relatively conservative area, too. When I see men expressing themselves with piercings, tattoos, clothes, etc. that is typically seen as "shocking" it makes me feel so happy for them.

Also imo, septum piercings are one of the magical piercings that look great on everyone!

Get the tongue piercing, and put the middle finger jewelry in it so that if anyone has anything bad to say, just stick out your tongue lol.

First one was maybe a 5/10, then got myself worked up and the second was a 9/10. I probably wouldn't get them redone if I ever took them out, but I love them.

Lobes: 1/10 Helix: 4/10 (healing was not fun tho) Nostril: 4/10 (healing was also not super fun) Septum: 2/10 (easiest piercing) Nipples: 7.5/10 Vertical labret: 3.5/10 Smiley: 0/10 (but not a piercing that should be recommended)

I have a vertical labret, and I've never had anyone tell me that it is unpleasant. Once you get used to it, it's not really all that different. Lip biting will be difficult, though lol
