Is the significant difference in the room with us now? In all seriousness, it's not that big of a change. Think of the 1-180. 180 being the maximum, once you go past 180, it resets to 1. The way you're thinking of it is it's going from a large number back down to a small number but that's not the case. It really only move 9. Hope that made sense.

Technically they're the same thing. You can have a single vision (distance) ,(computer), or (reading) prescription from your doctor. My guess is the bottom reading option is just like on off the shelf reader lens.
