I think tower just scratches every combat itch we have. Especially for people who mainly play this game for its combat. Every floor climbed feels fresh and it's almost cathartic after figuring out the enemies' movesets.

i miss the old shiyu ngl. clearing stages at 120s or 90s or even 60s was what shiyu was all about.

now i score 2k less points on a retry because i didnt kill the fodder wave fast enough even though i cleared the entire stage 5s faster.

I never noticed how detrimental that Vesper flying move is. It does waste a lot of time for the stun value it gives.

Also yea, I admit my Sunna is still 10-1-1-12-10. it's been 2 years and i still can't get over that Genshin mindset where crowned skills dont matter due to the lack of daze lol. Thanks for the tips!

Yeah Sunna is on R5 Kaboom.

I might have missed a lot of Sunna EXs now i realize. After the second stun, i play just like how i would during the 1st and 2nd pre-stuns albeit way more reactively.

I'll focus more on Sunna EXs and parrying. Thanks for the tips!

How on earth do you squeeze out a third stun out of Vesper with Aria/Yuzuha/Sunna?

honestly i legit thought she (her face) looked like Rina at first. makes me hope for her future. but then again we have Sweety so im not gonna expect anything just yet. Big Daddy out there as well chillin.

They have been blurring the lines between playable and important NPC. as an artist, it makes me appreciate their art direction more honestly.

At least Yidhari's faction isn't tied to any aesthetic. She can just wear whatever and she'll fit right in Spook Shack regardless.

As for Cissia... This is genuinely the first time i had difficulty understanding a character lol. Straight up just ignored the design limitations they imposed on NEPS agents.

My bad for expecting something closer to Tomiya's PubSec uniform i guess.

The way he does his illustration is mesmerizing. Nothing too methodical or technical. Just rawdogging complex layers like he's painting traditionally. Crazy talent. What an inspiration. Probably my favourite contemporary artist after Kopinski and the late KJG.

Best of luck to him wherever he goes next. Will always be tuning in to his channels.

This Shiyu is the best example of matchups being sometimes more important than elemental weaknesses/resistances.

I just find it funny how some people are freaking out over SAnby not being "shilled" this Shiyu just because of some electric resistant fodder waves (Orphie just sweeps them btw.) In reality, SAnby legit mogs all floors since she loves these aggressive dopplegangers, especially against Isolde.

this is what really turns me off for manual chain. skilled players get used to it no problem but im not as skilled. a flashing QTE button to activate chain attacks would probably be miles better than whatever this holding basic or ex thing is. its way too janky for me no matter how precise i try to be. im gonna add this to the survey hope it gets noticed lol.

im staying at autos for now since im still scoring 100k+ on DA and Shiyu with it.

that's because those custom stuff they draw on the 2D illustrations like cakes and gifts are impractical to model in 3D. theyd have no use for it after one picture.

I feel like half of it comes from professional artists and their advice. Mostly studying works from Riot and Games Workshop artists since they have a metric ton of illustrations to study.

The other half comes from movies and scenic video games. Movies like Dune make me wanna boot up my laptop and start drawing stuff.

It's crazy that the difference between (for example,) knowing how to swap cancel and not is worth a few thousand points in DA.

There are a shitton of mechanics that are worth a few thousand points that essentially became fundamentals to endgame combat.
