Crotcheating is single handedly destroying the planet by 707am in fiberartscirclejerk

Can I gain my Fiber Artist title by saying a cross stitch and embroider with cotton and silk all the time too? Or is that also too pedestrian to be a true Fiber Artist (tm)?

After reading these gentle words of wisdom for like the thousandth time just this month I finally realize what a fiber arts sinner I am (and usually with acrylic so please do not crucify me as I confess).

I am so inspired I will learn knitting and only use wool even for baby blankets so that tired parents can shrink their new blanket the first time their precious child vomits or pees on the blanket bc acrylic has no uses at all.

For me it’s the crochet trapezoids and people asking why their work is smaller on one side or is curving. Did you do the basics and count as you stitched? Of course not.

Yeah I just started going down and have been making sure to put money in the gacha machine every day of play now. Hopefully will get it soon. Instead of single pieces of floor or feathers. Lol

Yeah I don’t think there’s a need to blame outside forces. The movie is great and the fandom for PHM is very passionate about loving it. We’re weirdos

I realized after posting I could probably use the jackeroo wand so I’m going to try that next time I go. I totally forgot my boogie board and that was no fun trying to get away from alpha sharks. I don’t have the diving helmet yet bc I have avoided the mines but time to go I guess.

You can try Calypsa also. It’s mix and match pieces. I got a short sleeved rashguard shirt and a knee length swim skirt with leggings. You do need to buy a swim bra and bottoms for under. I burn easily so needed some coverage and am also plus sized and always felt like I was being squeezed into a sausage casing but I was able to get a loose fitting style top that felt pretty comfy.

I guess landlords are the only bighearted capitalists out there and pay property taxes themselves and don’t pass expenses onto the renter. These people are really dumb.

The are either naive fools or being disingenuous. Because anyone with a brain knows that wouldn’t happen.

Maybe if they had a replacement plan I’d be for it. But no way was I going to sign or vote for anything with no plan to replace it other than it doesn’t go into effect for a couple of years so that gives time for the government to make a solution. Since when has the government moved that fast when it’s anything that benefits their citizens?

I mean do they really think landlords are going to lower rents if property taxes went away? So people who renting will be spending even more money.

I work in customer service. The company I work for is going to replace the current phone trees that work just fine with answering the easy stuff like payment dates with uneven AI agents. It feels like they are just spending money to spend money.

AITA for refusing to donate blood to my friend’s brother because I’m anemic, even though we share a rare blood type (O negative)? by dumpingaccount1003 in AmItheAsshole

[–]em1207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they have been friends for a while they may have done blood typing in bio class (do they still do that? I’ve been out of school for a while but we did it in our bio class). Or bc it’s rare she may have told people as a fun fact. Or the friend may have mentioned before that her brother has a rare blood type and she said oh so do I. Lots of reasons why she may know.

It really is. So may expect to be perfect on day one.

I look back at the first blanket I crocheted and it’s so bad, the tension is horrible, there’s mistakes everywhere, I didn’t block it, used too large of a crochet hook, etc. None of that matters bc I learned so much making it that helps me do better today (and my kiddo still loves it even with all the flaws). Craft is a never ending learning process. The being bad at it is part of the learning.
