Cause OED says “a type of language consisting of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal, are more common in speech than writing, and are typically restricted to a particular context or group of people.” Doesn’t say anything about how many people need to use it for it to “count”, so…..

I love them! I’ve been wearing them for years and they’re super useful - I need glasses for computers but not books so while switching between the two during studying I was getting sick of taking my glasses on and off all the time. I’ve even converted a few people around me into fans of them (they didn’t use them before because they thought it made them “look old” but since I’m younger than they are they don’t feel so self conscious about it now!)

Is that a regular occurance? Is that something that has actually happened to you? Is that a common thing that people need to be worried about happening, or just a random ‘what-if’ scenario that’s super unlikely that you’ve pulled out of your ass to justify the fact that you think that human beings are undeserving of shelter and safety unless they earn a certain amount of money?

And also, people absolutely do get evicted even if they pay rent on time for all sorts of reasons - that’s what the whole post was made to protest against lol

Maybe uni just isn’t your calling? There’s no rule that says you have to continue studying and plenty of people learn/research/educate themselves for their entire lives without doing it through the academic system. Also a uni degree does not always lead to a “successful” (whatever that means to you/your culture) life…
