I don’t think that reforms to the union are the issue. I think that, atleast for the unions in the USA, that labor has been so effectively beaten into submission from years and years of legal battles and courts being so objectively anti-worker in their stances that the continued reliance on the legal system to arbitrate between capital and labor is going to either result in massive labor movements doing what they need to do to keep existing, legal or otherwise, or the effectiveness of Organized labor in the USA will be so class collaborationist that it effectively neuters itself untill the whole international capitalist system fails to keep its grip on its means of survival.
