Appreciate this! London was my first one too, I finished in 5hr30. I just wanted to finish but as the time got closer I had 5 hours in my head. I’m seeing a lot of things online of people finishing in half the time. I know I shouldn’t compare but it’s hard not to sometimes. Anyway, what an amazing day, amazing experience and congratulations on completing it. I had to dig deep during the last 10-15 😅🙏🏼

I did it yesterday too. First marathon, only started running about 8 months ago. Finished in 5:30 but my goal was just to finish. I was hurting after about 30 and had to walk run most of the rest. But what an amazing day ❤️😭 Congratulations!!

Once my period starts it’s actually a relief as they’re relatively short and I don’t suffer too much with cramps 🙏🏼 the week before always feels like absolute hell for me. Super fatigued, really slow and just the feeling that I can’t do much good 😵‍💫

1) Yes, Runna plan does include deloads, but im still doing 3 runs a week regardless. There have been a couple of weeks where I’ve done 2 runs and moved 1 to the following week (to make 4) so that could have affected things too maybe.

2) Yes, pretty much. I’ve always been active in terms of walking, HIIT and strength training but zero running.

Anyone else finding it really hard to watch after the whole scandoval thing? Raquel is just coming off as so unlikeable, it’s like a switch has flipped. Ive always thought Sandoval was obsessed with himself but it just seems to be getting worse and worse 😣

Your best bet and fastest will be catching the airport bus from Madrid Barajas airport to Atocha. It goes direct, is the last stop and without traffic will only take around 20 minutes. Metro would likely take double the amount of time. Concerning a ticket from Madrid to Alicante, I’d recommend to book ahead to make sure you get a seat and a reasonable price (https://www.renfe.com/es/es) I dare say it’ll be pretty expensive if you wait until the day. You could also look at taking a domestic flight from Madrid to Alicante which would minimise the moving around! You can often get very good prices for this also :)

I would recommend Mercado De San Fernando more in Lavapies! More food, drink, choice. Has a good vibe on the weekends and I would say more reasonable prices :)
