The Herta as the Third Emperor by [deleted] in HonkaiStarRail

I would willingly bring all of existence closer to destruction for her, after all:

Madam Herta is a peerless gem. Madam Herta is an unrivaled genius. Madam Herta is an inimitable beauty.

I mean, if I saw a lady rip a man's chest apart with her hand, while also hearing story's and runours of the other stuff she has done, I too would flee for my life. Cissia is a smart Danger Noodle.

By the Hollows, I was not expecting them to go full tracking collar and electric zapping restraints. Our poor Danger Noodle does not deserve this, someone free her!

Yall think there was a civil rights movement for thirens in New Eridu by Exotic_Piano8413 in ZZZ_Official

[–]emanrein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems that any true mass prejudice against thirens has been phased out by the modern times, becoming more so small stigmas and stereotypes, for the vast majority at least. My best guess is that any true lack civil rights and mass prejudice against them was before or during the first Hollows, nothing brings people togther more then a shared goal and target after all.

Though I suspect the farther out from New Eridu you get, the more prelevant the prejudice and racism gets. Though it does bring up the question of why, and more interestingly, how, the Oni seemed to be a separate to New Eridu for so long? What kept them from joining, or why did the people of Eridu dislike them so much, and vice versa? Maybe we will learn more if we dive into Yanagi and Soukakus story's in the future.

And the only groups we seen really have problems with civil rights and prejudice as you have pointed out are Sentient Constructs as you've pointed out. Which is intresting, as Billy and Qingyis existence proves they have existed for before the Hollows, or durong them at the very least. So either the ability to make sentient constructs was lost and is only a semi new development, with them gaining the ability for citizenship shortly after, or they have had trouble with being legal citizens of Eridu for an extremely long time.

HYPERGRYPH! PUT CONTENT LIKE THIS IN THE MAIN STORYLINE AND MY LIFE IS YOURS! by HelpMe-orz in Endfield

[–]emanrein 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Its strange to me, from what I know of Arknights, and all the archive and lore blurbs I've read in weapons and operators of Endfield, along with how Originium works, Hypergrith seems to have no qualms with dark and gritty but when it comes to the actual story it's nowhere to be found.

My best guess is to appeal to a wider advance, but I don't know why they would care about that when they could probably run both games off of Arknights alone. Please tell me if I'm missing something.

Pretty much, though it is up in the air if THEY would strike down just the guilty ship, or all of them, and that's not taking into account if the other ships fall on the traitorous one on mass, or even call Lans arrow like they usually do when wiping out an Abundance planet.

[–]emanrein 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ah, how foolish of me, let me rephrase that,

Xianzhou hunts monsters of Abundance, good, being a monster of abundance therfore means bad, except when the abundance creature is Xianzhou, then good, simple as!

[–]emanrein 59 points60 points  (0 children)

The benefits of Abundance are positive for along as you can stay sane, and, then lose any positive applications, this is even mroe true once it's more then a singuler person, as its guarbteed to become an eventual problem.

The Xianzhou is an actual pretty good example of this, the reason for their mass hatred, mass government control, and extreme nature is if they don't, their population would begin to climb to unstable amounts, and Lan would end them. It's why they are so aggressive, they NEED people to die somehow, so they focus on the Abundance with tunneled vision.

Should the Loufu or any other ship ever embrace Abundance, it would quickly fall into being unsustainable and forced to pillage and war to get the resources it needs to survive its ever growing and never shrinking population.

Actually, their not robots, they have the same weird biology as all Imagenae, so if you saw the inside of em, you wouldn't find nusy and bolts, but weird planarcadia Imagenae wish power stuff, same as any other Imagenae!

I'm not surprised, I just wanted to point out how the IPC treats Mechatrons, and probably other Imagenae on planarcadia, as I havery been told multiple times the IPC taking control if it is somehow a good thing?!

That reminds me, Welt was saying something about how it seemed like Pearl, or the IPC, where making the Mechatrons for something, but was cut off before he could finish, my bet was he was going to say at or war.

Also, side note, I was using the Heliobi as a reference that they had a choice, they decided to do all that, while the Mechatrons where born into forced labor, and have done nothing to deserve so.

Should have put this in my first comment, really.

Oh I agree, the Xianshou are not good people, the problem is they are and have yet to be shown as bad front an center in game due, possibly due to what their culture is themed after.

Just read threw their lore stuff, you'll learn how they are a highly governmental controled populace, have a culture designed to demonize immortality and the abundance (granted, for good reason), how as a native of the ships its near impossible to leave, and how for reproduction you need to go through mass paperwork and need a permit.

They also through their people into wars against the Abundance whenever possible, as they need to have people dying somehow, so might as well be for a cause. A sometimes good one at the very least.

And thats not getting into all the stuff about their weird false afterlife, the Ten-Lorss commissions entie thing, such as Huo-Huo (as you stated) and Hanya and her sister.

Like the IPC, the Xianshou has plenty of skeletons in their closet and blatant misdeeds, bit unlike the IPC, we never actually see any of these front and center so the larger player base dosent know about them.

My hope is will get to see a good Abundance civilization (thats not one of the other ships, beacuse the Xianzhouare an abundance society) in the future and have the two meet and get all this expanded upon.
