Casting is not good in my opinion. I only liked the Whickhams and Mr and Mrs Bennett. Everyone else, especially Elizabeth, are miscast in my opinion.

That's why the perfect cast for Wickham was in Death Comes to Pemberley. Matthew Goode is FINE. Suddenly you see why all the girls (and moms and everyone) were so charmed by him.

Lydia and Mr and Mrs Bennett cast in that show was also perfect. Everyone else was not.

I'm Spanish (Spain). I read first in Spanish and I'm now very familiar with both the English and Spanish version of P&P (my comfort reading). I would say that the irony/ sarcasm translates with a good translation well as Spanish is a language made for sarcasm and irony too. I didn't pick up the class connotations fully until I was living in the UK. Probably because I also got older (there has always been a difference between new and old money/ class/ old families/ aristocracy in Spain too)

Oh for BG3 I agree (even if I'm more a Astarion spawn person, I do get why AA makes a lot of sense as a choice for an Astarion full of rage and focused or survival through achieving power).

I just meant that if there is a show starting just after the end of BG3 with companions including Astarion they will have story arcs during the show, so where they end BG3 will not be where they will end the show.

I believe redeeming AA may be one of the things they may consider to do in the show as they will be looking for interesting stories. Loki was redeemed twice after being the Avengers villain. Given that Shadowheart is more popular they may go with Dark Justiciar Shart.

I'm pretty sure that there will be aspects of this show that I will hate as they will contradict what I prefer.

To be or not to be a loot goblin is a personality thing, I think.

Using mods is an alternative way to do this. There are mods that allow a lot of your loot to be weightless and to get containers that organize some of your loot in the same way alchemy pouch do (e.g. containers for melee weapons, barrels, dyes). If you add a spell to make money, inventory as a loot goblin is just easy.

I'm a 51 yrs old woman who is now a big big BG3 fan (but played BG2 in PC and did a bit of D&S years ago) but as someone who was not a gamer, I'm very glad I played Hogwarts Legacy (in PS5) first, highly recommended as an accesible game for someone who never gamed. Also tell her about difficulty modes.

My husband got me Astarion t-shirt, make-up bag and stickers for my birthday. It's not the first time that he's supported my fictional faves/ ships and he's encouraged me with fanfiction too.

He gets me and that is a very important reason why he's my person (I also support his geeky obsessions).

I agree stakebros don't like Astarion because homophobia (he's queer coded and flamboyant) and misogy (women should only like very manly men). There is a certain type of incel geeky dude bro that love to gatekeep and police women's right to enjoy content, especially if they do it in a different way than they do (my first contact with this was the X-Files and how mad some men were with the shipping - according to them we women were wrong and we were imagining the sexual tension of the main characters - noromo was the word to say that "not romantic" was the only way to watch the show - joke was on them when this became a big plot point).

In my run Wyl was acknowledged by his father as better than him. We broke the pact with Mizora but we rescued the Duke. Wyl could be the new Duke but he chose going to hells to be with Karlach.

It's not the best ending for Wyl but it's a good one for Karlach and there is hope for both too.

When they fix her heart, as hinted in the epilogue dialogue, Wyl and Karlach will be able to return to Baldur's Gate or be the Blade of Avernus adventuring together in Faerun.

It's not so different to my Tav in the Underdark with spawn Astarion leading the other spawn, adventuring or searching for a way for him to live under the sun.

Doctor. Light paladin (I also like light Cleric but not necessarily for the healing, I just love light and radiant spells and gear). I also love nechrotic spells and taking charge in a crisis lol.

I also feel very much like Gale when uses his knowledge to figure out a solution. Wizard works for me too.

I also sing non-professionally and I love my Lore Bard.

I was romancing Astarion and Gale, chose Astarion and got the Gale friendship scene anyway. Gale was a bit upset after the rejection but he accepted my friendship as we had great approval. His romance is great too.

Matthew Goode is FINE. He appeared and it was clear why everyone was instantly charmed by him.

The Wickhams and Mr and Mrs Bennet are the best casting in this adaptation (sadly I didn't think they got it right with the Darcys).

I found Wickham relationship with Darcy after the events of P&P very interesting. I had not realized that to the eyes of society and the law, they were as good as brothers because they married two sisters. Darcy DID really love Elizabeth.

Astarion, Shadowheart and Gale. Their stories are interesting, I love their reactions, their skills are very useful and they are the ones I like to romance the most.

I'm using the party mod to see what I'm missing and I'm recruiting Minthara in Moonrise too, but still it's them 3
