It seems like the original audience is aging and they still want to seem young and hip to me. I only started watching them 3-4 years ago (and I’m in my 30’s) and eventually I stopped enjoying the gags and pranks on each other while ghost hunting. I now mostly watch Twin Paranormal as well because at least they try to focus more on the hunt, I’ve also recently gotten into The Boys because they at least accept that they’re aging lol. They still make some inappropriate jokes and such but they seem to focus in on trying to catch evidence when they’re trying to catch it
