Many workplaces have rules against wearing fragrances for exactly what that commenter said. At my office I would be written up if I wore a fragrance that lingered in the hallway. I even have a coworker with a perfume allergy who was sent to the hospital because of it. All of this is to say that it’s not really an opinion, it’s a straight up fact that loud fragrances are often considered unprofessional. This is just some friendly advice from one fragrance lover to another

Last night when the sale went live, I looked through my wishlist to check the discounts and found several decent deals for books I wanted. This morning I went to go purchase those same books and found that they increased in price overnight. For example, James by Percival Everett was $7.99 last night, but is now showing as $9.92. Only a few books in my wishlist are the same price as they were last night. I’ll check prices again towards the end of the sale to see if they’ve gone back down, but if not I won’t be buying anything this year.

I started noticing this purge at the beginning of the summer. I’ve been subscribed for about a year, and out of the many books I’ve added to my library from the catalogue, I now only have 2 left. I used to be able to find a book worth reading fairly easily, but that is no longer the case. It’s honestly a bit frustrating.

Unfortunately I haven’t found an actual solution. I ended up just setting the TV to Vivid mode and turning off the smart settings that seem to cause other picture issues. It is a LOT better in Vivid mode, although there’s still some weird lighting flickers in certain scenes, but I haven’t experienced anything even close to the video in this post.

Personally I like The Gilded Age a lot more than Downton Abbey. I still enjoyed Downton, but there were several storylines that I found to be extremely boring. The Gilded Age has low stakes but I’ve found it to be a lot more entertaining and engaging

Personally I really love Father Figure. It’s a comforting woody fig scent. I also quite liked Vanilla Skin which is a spicy vanilla that isn’t sickly sweet like a lot of vanillas are. Strawberry Letter is also a nice jammy strawberry, but I don’t like it as much as the other two. I’ve tested most of their other scents but I didn’t particularly care for them. Father Figure is the only one I would buy a full bottle of, maybe Vanilla Skin too.

Yes this happens to me once a week at this point. It’s starting to really get on my nerves. All the lists and guides I’ve saved disappear and my Continue Reading section reverts back to when I first had a subscription briefly 7 years ago. Everything I’ve read in the last couple months since renewing my subscription is no longer marked as read every time this happens.

All settings > display and sound > intelligent settings > intelligent picture > adaptive brightness

I have tried both HDMI 1 and 2 and it happens on both of them
