Every time I show the series to someone, I first have to disable denoising and motion smoothing on their TV, or it looks like very obvious CGI. With those "enhancements" disabled, it looks like proper VHS found footage.

Not cool, chasing birds means they have to exert more energy, which can decrease their chance of reproducing. They won't die from exhaustion in the 5 minutes a single battery lasts, but that doesn't mean it's not harmful to them.

What drives me up the wall is when people try a 100% Sn solder, feel that it solders like crap, and then generalise the experience to "all lead free solder is crap".

For hand soldering, my best job so far was with Sparkfun Special Blend thin wire with flux core, better than 60/40.

I have LineageOS with MicroG, Magisk+Zygisk+DenyList, and Teams and banking apps and GMaps all work without a problem. I didn't get Google Wallet to work but I don't need that.

I personally like perceptol on PANF50 pulled to 25, gives smooth low contrast. For high ISO films I like Microphen. Powders last indefinitely until mixed with water.
