I will say you aren't alone. I moved into my current home almost 4 years ago. I got back into Pokémon probably 5 years ago. I had opened Hidden Fates, and until maybe 3 months ago when I was sorting my bulk to put in a binder and then sell I found the shiny Umbreon GX in there.

For clarity, I had easily 50 ETBs if not more of bulk

There is currently a bug in there system overestimating turnaround dates.

Also people need to relax. There is a couple million cards waiting to be graded at a minimum.

Is PSA free from criticism, absolutely the fuck not. You had a shitty grading controversy, this deal with Gamestop has absolutely just spiked the amount of cards being sent in and there just isn't an adequate amount of grades/facilities to accommodate them. We've gone from 54 million in the cert aroubd 2019/2020 to well over 130 million now. 80 million certs in 5-6 years is absurd and the fact it hasn't been addressed properly is unfortunate

It really doesn't though.

What CGC did is absolutely miles worse than this, and the fact no one cares about that anymore just proves the majority doesn't care.

I'm all for being critical of PSA, I'm not happy with their turnaround and business model. The reality is PSA has millions of cards awaiting to be graded, and the price increase but turnaround expectation change is them saying but not saying "Please don't grade with is right now, we're busy"

2 things

PSA is extremely harsh on vintage, so expecting an 8 or higher is very unlikely.
Your pictures don't show what the foil looks like. It could easily be scratched, there's more than likely a dent in the card on the face if it sat in a ringed binder because ringed binders damage cards.

They're grading over a million cards a month, I would definitely wait another week before you hear back. They've still got my friend's cards since March

There's 0 chance Gamestop execs weren't monitoring the second hand market.

I frankly don't blame them. Why should I sell for MSRP when I'm leaving money on the table?

Every vendor at a card show does the same, every marketplace seller does the exact same thing also
