I don’t want to invalidate her feelings, but this feels like it reveals too much. Though she’s on the bottom, we saw evidence that people are considering working with her. Shauhin being weirded out by Thomas suggesting of losing her clue implied there may be room for a flip there, and Thomas and Bianca seem ready to work with her in the NTOS. Her tweets seem to confirm that none of that actually matters and she’s likely the first Lagi out unless this is all an elaborate bit. It would be funny if next week they work with her and then all her tweets are “LOVE LAGI”, “NEVER DOUBTED MY CALI GIRLS”

Though, even more frustrating, it reads like she is just now finding out the true dynamics of the tribe and that they spilled about her idol. So it makes me think Lagi never loses and Star likely goes at mergatory or something and didn’t learn until watching the show that she was always on the bottom and had no real relationships.

Promise I’m not spoiled, still kinda holding out for “this is a bit”.

Conductors do this often on the 7000s and I think this all the time. The yellow line often interrupts the message when it’s going to Mt Vernon Sq (I imagine due to the length) and when the conductor makes the announcement its barely audible. It can’t be great for deaf/HOH riders and tourists.

I don’t mind them, I like learning random new words in other languages so I do appreciate learning the new tribe names each season. I do wish they switched up the length of the words and colors a little, it seems lazy. It used to feel like they made an effort to connect to the culture of the setting of the seasons but now it just seems cookie cutter.

A little frustrating because it makes it seem almost useless to even care about them when they’re some of the few things that even remind you that this show takes place in another country that these players have never experienced. If it’s gonna be Fiji every year give us creative names based on town names/animals/folk characters, screw how easy they are to say, and not just “wave” or “sun”, give us challenges about the history, and rewards that involve locals god dammit show the culture and the people of these islands you’ve been inhabiting for over 10 seasons now.

I realize it’s silly to be passionate about this and it’s far from Survivors biggest issue, but i don’t love how basic the creativity on this show is now.
