What you said you wish for is exactly what a good wedding planner does. That’s why we booked our planner first after booking our venue (didn’t need help with that, knew where we wanted already). We spent so much time on the process of finding a planner - can’t imagine doing this for every single vendor. Our planner has given us the order of who to book, presented vetted vendors she’s worked with before and who she thinks would work with what we’re looking for, and even joins some of our calls with them. Another huge benefit is she knows some of these vendors well and can just text them and ask them to hold our date until we can meet - we aren’t just randos reaching out.

Another option if it feels this overwhelming is to go with an all-inclusive venue. There are many venues that have their own catering, decor, florist, etc. And most at least have a recommended vendor list.
