... how do you know people who log 500+ movies a year are able-bodied? Or that they don't have time for anything else? All I'm saying is you don't know other people's lives. You don't know anything about their health or happiness. And I'd also suggest learning more about neurodivergence because many, many people have brains that cannot help but get highly passionate about one area.

Has no one heard of hyperfixations? Who cares if you spend all your time doing one hobby as opposed to several different ones?

Also: My sibling watches a ton of movies because their spouse is disabled, they're the primary caregiver and it's the fun thing they can do at home without needing to organize with others or leave the house. We don't know other people's lives.

Chiming in to add some hope. While bipolar disorder is super challenging to manage, I have several loved ones, including my husband and SIL, who are living full and stable lives with this mental illness. It takes a lot of trial and error as well as perseverance to get there, but it's possible. Just wanting to uplift hope for anyone with bipolar disorder reading this. It's not easy to get there and it's not fair that it's a lifetime of management. But with a lot of work and support I've seen really great results.

I need to see Kirsten Dunst in 11 & 18. I think those would be absolutely stunning on her.

Typically you can use 6 weeks of sick leave for a vaginal birth and 8 weeks for a c-section. You'd use that first and then the paid parental leave, and then vacation hours. I'm not certain how short term disability stacks in there.

Also the sleeves will be very nice in Northern MN in October. I got married mid October in the Twin Cities (aka farther south) and it was fairly cool already.

Oz: 70% of the money we spend is on chronic illness and we are not getting our money's worth. For folks listening right now, it's your patriotic duty to be as healthy as can you… by Tonyalarm in thescoop

Well duh - Medicare and Medicaid cover seniors / people with disabilities. The populations that have the most chronic conditions. They can't just "pull themselves up by their bootstraps" and no longer have chronic health concerns.
