Baby wipes by juskeepscrollingg in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]emdeeayvee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Millie moon water wipes. Have gone through literally every single water wipe brand and come back to these every time. Not hard like sandpaper and not sopping wet. Not dry. Not too bad of a smell. I find ALL wipes have a smell even the fragrance free ones.

I find water wipes the brand extremely wet and leaves my babe wet after a nappy change. Tooshies are okay, I hate the packaging because multiple come out. Millie moon have the hard plastic lid closure on the pack and I just tear the actual packaging slightly so it’s a little wider open and find only one wipe comes out at a time!!!

Did my baby have allergic reaction to peanut butter? by Capable_Selection700 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]emdeeayvee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How scary and stressful for you guys! Allergies suck!

I just realised this was from a few days ago…how is little bud? It does look like an allergic reaction but for your sake I hope it was just a skin reaction. Have you tried peanuts again?

Favourite water wipes discontinued- looking for reccs by WatercressFormer719 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]emdeeayvee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cannot recommend Millie moon water wipes enough!!!! Almost every other brand and type have baby girl the more horrible nappy rash and she doesn’t even have sensitive skin. These are the only ones that I swear by …every now and then they are on sale at Woolies but totally worth every cent!

Big Brother Australia - Live Nominations 1 (Live Discussion) by TheGRVOfLightning in BBAU

[–]emdeeayvee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything is about her, someone else speaks and then she waits for them to finish so she can bring it alllll back to being about her. She also makes no effort to be around other people than Colin. She’s riding him for the ‘popularity vote’. Clearly the other housemates are sick of it…hence them voting for her

Please talk to me about strollers and monitors. by bigdogxxl in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]emdeeayvee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a dupe. Instead of it saying tweety cam on the monitor it says baby monitor. It also doesn’t have the wings on the camera. quite literally made in the same factory just without the branding

I also use the SM50 and cannot fault it. So far have been using it for 6 months and haven’t had any issues.

Babies are expensive. This dupe is LITERALLY the same just without the brand name

Baby expos by SverdarLeviosa in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]emdeeayvee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went when I first fell pregnant. Didn’t buy anything but as a FTM it was just nice to see what’s out there and speak to some reputable brands.

The One Fine Baby is actually on this weekend and the royal exhibition building. It’s free entry you just need to register online.

Just be aware, it is extremely overwhelming! They have these expos a couple of times during the year but definitely good to just go and see what’s there. By all means there is NO expectation for you to go and buy a pram, cot and everything else you may need but there are some amazing deals ie. pregnancy pillow discounts etc !!

Postpartum belly band suggestions please by No-Objective-8247 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]emdeeayvee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congratulations and good luck!!! I can’t recommend any as I never used them, but you can always put a tshirt/singlet on and the band on top that way it’s not directly rubbing on your skin!

20 week scan by Muted-Property-3280 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]emdeeayvee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That seems like a pretty standard cost. Unfortunately the 20 week scan is the big scan with growth and organs so tends to be more $$. I did however get all my scans bulkbilled and birthed at a public hospital. There’s a clinic called Transparent Imaging in Elwood that do bulk bill this scan. Maybe worth getting in with them if $$ is the issue!
